I watched the first star wars today. This subject reminded of one of my major annoyances.
It still irks me. How Obi wan says:
"Strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you could ever imagine"
Its a shame the fact that unlike other jedi knights dying in ALL the other movies
does not die like him, nor is it explained what he meant, or the character of why he "vanishes" upon Vader striking him down
Hahaha, would all you nigger want to learn the REAL reason behind that
?
Alec Guinness hated the Star Wars trilogy so much that he made Lucas kill off his Character!

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

For the Light Side of the Force, there were originally 2 schools of thought. The Unifying Force, which became the mainstream, orthodox way of practicing became dominant. Jedi behave much more controlled, less emotive, etc.
Qui Gon was one of the few remaining masters of the Living Force, and you can see how he is different, rash, impulsive, more emotional. This is also the reason why despite being a Master, he could not ascend to the Council.
When Qui Gon passed on, he was able to retain his individuality, though not practiced enough to manifest as a Force Ghost. He then used his ghostly existence to guide Yoda, and then Obi-Wan, so they could live on after death.
Hence, Luke Skywalker, and his subsequent Jedi Order, had more of a balance of both the Living & Unifying Force doctrines. Of course, he had no choice on the emotional fluidity, since most of his students were already adults with attachments.

UPDATE: You guys have a preference for servers? PVP? RP? PVE (normal)? Personally I can go RP or PVP.
Yeah guys I know Jodomar was also interested in PvP, I'm not too fussed I'm going to have multiple characters anyway on different servers, but basically we're going to be remaking the guild with a different name because the one I chose I like rushed to come up with, so we're gonna make a new one, not sure yet.
What we need to know is (this is for the Republic guys, Empire guys should make their own guild), what server type MOST people would like to be on. Bear in mind you can have multiple characters on different servers.
At the moment it's looking like PvP, but if everyone lets us know we can get the new guild done pretty easily.
Also, we need a name.
A cool, Republic affiliated name preferably, so get thinking
So far I've come up with: The Lost of Dantooine, 5th Jedi Assault Squad, Revans
Raiders
Lovechild, Defenders of Naboo.
They're all pretty lame, I suck with names, so, help?

New guild, name is slightly better, I think anyway
Name comes from KoTOR, if anyones played that, you'll know that Dantooine was the Jedi enclave planet that Malek glassed when hunting for Revan & Bastila, so the idea is that a few soldiers & Jedi escaped the bombardment and continued to live on, forming the "Ghost Regiment", which continued to serve the Republic many years later.

Tempted to give this a shot but I tried it in closed beta and... I wasn't overly impressed. I'd have to see what else has changed.

You're lucky
I'm definitely giving it a go, it just looks so hood.
Even if it sucks, it still has the role play aspect of an RPG, so will probably be worth it just for that.
And there's always 40k online

No, no pictures. Wasn't even my account(friends in high places) It just felt like any other MMO to me with a Star Wars skin. Skills in a bar the few missions I did try were at least different from the "Kill X, take to Y" but I don't know how far that extends to. It definitely has a starwars feel. Lasers and whatnot, but for me anyway it wasn't any different from Vanguard/Warhammer/Everquest/generic MMO #4. They all employ the same basic model and I don't find interest that
