Is the kill allied atg, bring out lots of armor. This is the oldest EIR strat that I know of that worked in the past, works now, has never stopped working, and will continue to work. There's a few ways to skin this cat:

Tried and true, Blitz: Storms and Tigers: bring double shreck storms, bundle nade, or out right blow up atgs move tiger up.

Terror: Over whelm with oaks leaves, blow up decrewed atgs, bring on KT. Or bring on KT to soak hits while decrewing and destroying atgs, repair repeat, by the time the KT gets killed, any other armor you bring on probably wont have atg to face.

Tank Hunters: pretty the same as terror, but with jagd and hetzers.

Now for the most part this is a big generalization, and there's many players that can't pull it off.

Allies are not really capable of this. We always need all the AT we can get, I constantly grab as many atgs as I can from dead axis. Even if you have double pershings, you'll still be grabbing more ATGs than destroying them.

Do allies have a tried but true tactic? One that is as simple with as high of a success rate as that?

You can use this strategy as allies too but it's a bit tricky. If you're lucky they'll expose their marders and paks early on so you can take them out. Axis players often have fewer paks, so if you can take out two or three if them it can give you the upper hand. This strategy is extra important if you play armor doctrine.

easy win allied trick, hunt all axis infantry, axis have less inf then allies. Win with infantry attrition and outcap the shit out of the axis. seen it done countless times.

The oldest allied trick in the book is.

Infantry Attrition

The general approach for Allied wins is attrition. Highly effective forms of Artillery(killing Infantry and Tanks) makes sustaining equal losses easy.

Also, increasing the effectiveness of the base infantry unit for the Americans only requires Munitions so you can field a greater number. The axis generally speaking don't have that luxury.

Alternatively the British can't suffer attrition as well because they have the most expensive base infantry unit in the game. It does however function with a high degree of resilience. I've always found the British played better with calculated and measured responses. Similar to the WM(with some exceptions to strategy)

cool! keep it coming, i know a lot of newer players have a hard time countering this axis strat, and usually just switch to axis. maybe this will help keep some US players!

/Tiger sees ATG!

/Tiger uses lolrushfromthefront attack!

*/Tiger hits pre-placed mine! Its imba effective!

or

*/Riflemen hiding on the flank in ambush run in behind the Tiger and sticky it!

/ATG is already moving cuz the player uses this thing called micro..

/ATG moves out of range and/or flanks the tiger, and the 2d ATG the player should have runs up from the other side...

/Tiger tries to escape..

/M10 runs up behind it and shoots it in the ass. Player trololols as M10 gets two shiney stars above it.

/Axis player cries OP cuz combined arms killed his tiger. Nerf! Nerf! ;/)

TBH, as an almost exclusive american player, countering this IF the popcap is available and I'm able to pre-empt the tigers call in, isnt that hard. A well-placed mine does the trick, as does a nice suicide charger riflemen squad hiding off to the side with a sticky. Its also not like the rest of your team hurr durrrr misses the tiger creeping towards your line; an FF or a few TDs are bound to show up eventually.

Volski threw in more pop than a tiger would cost lul.

BARs and ATGs as allies. Additionally M10s or Sherman Crocodiles. What else do you really want? BARs to rape all infantry and ATGs to make sure nothing on wheels comes close. Only issue might be pervitin pills oak leaves but your crocodile handles them pretty neatly.

It's easy to kill a Tiger if you are the better player, just like most anything else.

As allies you should never be short of AT.

I field, as Infantry, 6 M10, 5 ATG, and Stickies. I have BARs on ALL of my Riflemen, I use these mysterious units called "Jeeps" to give me epic LoS so my ATGs can use their 60 range.

I love my Infantry Coy.

The OP asked about 'similar allied tried but true tactics'. So no one is in fact going off-topic, except you.
