Cant flank on the map.

I disagree, there are many ways to flank on that map. I doubt that they were able to place an entire defensive line along the entire map, it's too big for that. You have the same flanking capabilities as any other map like Tanteville for example. If the enemy sets up an 88 on the left side then you can just focus on the other side and then flank it from west, east and south. I think you are to quick to judge this map.

The reason that it's a good map for WM players and bad for PE players is simply that it's a very open map. But there are ways to play to deny them this possibility to "lock down" the map. Changing focus to another side of the map is one of them.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

I have two replays but I don't think the version is compatible.

It's not Neuville, the only thing they have in common is the church in the middle. Forest is also a much better map than Neuville.

Why is Neuville bad ? Too many flanking options  for u ?

It's a good map, I just dislike the buildings. The buildings on the northern side are bigger and have more windows while the buildings on the southern side are small and useless.

So if the southern team gets in those bigger buildings it can be a pain in the ass to clear. Same thing if the northern team gets in those buildings and the southern team don't have any mortars it can be a pain in the ass.

I don't think there should be so drastically different types of cover on one side and then not the other. So in that particular area, forest is more balanced. Still just a minor thing though.

What I like is that if u want you can go along the edge of the map with your entire army plus teamm8s and go around the enemy position, flank that shit from the side or rear and win, something pretty impossible on most maps especially redball. This scenario is also something you can do in the start, when map is divided pretty much 50-50, on redball, no.

As always, have a nice day.

Again, I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Just give the map another chance. I'm sure that if you played the map on your infantry coy with some competent teammates you can pull of some nice flanking maneuvers if you try to.

Redball has one, singular semi-flanking position(extremely easy to counter with as little as 2 mines and a bike).

That is the forest on the left side by the church.

The rest of the map is basically a frontline that stretches from the hill-thing to the little hedgerowy area, and can be, effectively, fully locked down with 3 HMGs and 2 ATGs.

It is a campfest, and it's boring to fuck.

Couldn't the same thing be said about pretty much any map? Like tanteville if you have 3 HMGs then theoretically you should be able to cover most of the map. However that's not really possible in practice.

Massive difference in width on Tanteville mate. With 3 HMGs you'll cover, at best - one single "causeway" - it being either (right to left):

Rightwards Forest Flank
Town
Close-to-town Hedgerows
Leftwards hedgerows/crossroad

The only maps where you can actually do the same as on redball are also the ones that people (at least most of the people I consider to be good) hate with as much intensity as they do redball.

These include Vire River Valley and Bocage (albeit wide, too cluttered by buildings which makes it easy to lock-down. You basically only need an extra pak to do the same).

88s can make good use of Tante's open nature - which is the only drawback(more "length" in the map could help with that to be fair).

But other than that the map is fairly alright as far as defensiveness is concerned.
