DPS Oak Leaves vs Gren
«

I just played a game where it seemed my grens with an LMG were totally ripping apart infantry when i popped P pills compared to my KCH. is it more cost effective to run double lmgs rather than oak leaves? though of course oak leaves can fire on the move, but i doubt it matters when you can kill so fast.

If your objective is to run into something with the thought "I'm not sure this will work but I don't have an option" Or if you find yourself asking that often then go with the KCH. LMG grens can put out alot of damage and Accuracy boosts always help but even at Long range the Pills boost isn't very significant. While the close range DPS of an LMG is stupid impressive sometimes the difference is getting into that range.
4man KCH walk up and down my brit company(I use alot of HMG's and they laugh at me) but I do pretty well against Grens because my HMG's can work their stuff. It's a matter of personal preference. that and cost ratios

gotcha, the cost is pretty close, more so in MP, but then again oaks can take sherman shots pretty well.

Oak Leaves are my favourite Axis infantry unit to use. They output around the same damage as dual LMGs, can fire on the move and are much more durable than Grenadiers. The difference between LMGs and Oak Leaves are that LMGs are slightly better for long-distance engagements in my experience, and Knight's Cross Holders are meant to be in close-quarters engagements.

No point using pills up close, the DPS is already high enough. LMG's benefit most from pills, becoming semi-decent at anything besides short range, which they already rape at.

Yeah, it would make more sense if it buffed moving infantry.

The major diff between kch and grens is that freakin kch wont get suppressed and have more health. TBH I get sick everytime I see these things come on the field, I can deal with p pill grens, at least my hmg will suppress them.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Ok you peoples keep using grens, I'l stick with my oak KCH getting 20+ kills each(as long as a M10 doesnt run me over
)
and ignoring that sherman shot to the face, just so I can healup and do it all over again.

Should try supporting grens/kch with halftracks, david did it to me last game and it really pwned my sherman. HT - 2 shrek sgrens is more pop than the sherman but it helps a usually icky counter dominate u it. Then again I probably shouldn't be using shermans in ME's. Its too much hassle to micro a unit which's gun have no bonus damage vs any unit type, misses a lot while moving and cannot crush while shooting effectively. Poor shermans. As much as it would be cool to have kar98 kch, it would mean that shermans would be even worse vs wehr.
