OMFG. Guys we have all been waiting for this, it's starting to come closer now than ever. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-06-14-big-thq-announcement-set-for-gamescomAlot of people on GR are saying it's gonna be the african theatre, and I believe them because there really are some things that make it obvious like why else would they start up a news article on vehicles specifically from the African theater each week after they closed COH-O down?! A german game site says its proven that CoH2 is coming. http://www.spieleradar.de/PC/spieledetails/company-of-heroes-2/6_22380.html(Basically: Relic is making CoH2 and although they don't have a releasedate it will presumably be in Q4 2011.) I'm also quite sure they will be using the CoHO interface for it, there is a very high chance atleast (all that wasted money). For a real confirmation we are gonna have to wait until august, though. Anyone find EIRRMods quote that said he will make EIR for CoH 2 when it comes out? :p My bet is is that it will indeed be CoH 2 with the african theatre. It would be awesome anyways, don't feel like eastern front. That or Vietnam |

Although, with THQ/Relic winning the rights to produce Homeworld I'd also love it if Homeworld 3 were released. I love that game just as much as I love CoH

If they have a CoH2, herp derp no one saw that.
Also, being able to see an improvement in unit animations would be neat. I'm sick of watching my guys go prone behind a stonewall instead of just crouching or ducking fullblown laying down is just a bit to much IMO.
It'll be interesting if they do release a CoH2, a lot of new features that I think people would like to see.

If they have a CoH2, it better be able to play with people on Original CoH, while it may be a bit odd if it's in the African Desert, I'd still like to play as the normal CoH1 americans.

CoH 2 I'm thinking will use a different engine then CoH and it'll be a standalone game so whatever your weird comment was forget it!
I'd like to think they'll do the Russians but THQ is a pretty defensive publisher so if it is CoH 2 I think it'll be western allies.

shit my PC won't be able to run it probably. I hope they won't release it for next 2 years atleast.  oh and IMO it will not be Coh 2 , it will be Homeworld 3. or it will be Dawn of War 3 and relic will go 'trolololololol easy cash ' |

If relic were to make COH2, the board of directors would all be like " LETS ME INNOVATIVE IN THIS GAME, LETS BRING SOMETHING INTO THE GAME THAT WAS ABSENT IN THE FIRST"

I won;t touch DoW 3 unless I see some good stuff from it.
Dow 2 got my hopes up(I only bought the game knowing expansions would improve it- thats how Dow1 went) and while it's not a terrible game I've just got better shit to play. I do attribute some of their failures to the Games for Windows live retard fuck fest.
Homeworld 3 I'd love. More then CoH 2 even. Of course when Guild Wars 2 comes out I know where my time will be spent anyway

Tired of the Germans. More Asian people! No one's covered China, either Though I guess fighting the Italians might be a nice change of pace. On second thought, I'm tired of the Americans, too. Not sure what front that would be, though...no Americans or Germans. Maybe really early North Africa or South Asia. Or New Guinea. But that'll never happen. |
