The game is good still, if you played it a year earlier from now you would know what i mean

although i did enjoy side shotting tanks from the front, it required some skill to do but was very rewarding

they fixed that

i forgot about DH, yes infantry combat in that is great! i never ventured to drive tanks though.

Forgotten Hope is fine, but I think if u don't want to be regulary pwnd by aircraft and if u want more thrilling and much better small arms infantry fights you should really give RO DarkestHour a try. The engine looks much better. Network codec is better and the players are moving more fluent, tank damage zones are better, handgun can be fired out of hands is better, while running and shot into legs u fall and lose your gun is better... It lags aircraft but the rest is so much better.

So I screw FH2 for now...
I played FH1 for a long period but I think I will stick to DH now.

I still prefer the Darkest Hour tank combat.

Just got 17 straight tank kills Riding solo in an M36 Jackson. Everything from 20mm Puma's to Jagdpanzer 4's, Jagdpanther's and even a KT.

The next match I got 6 kills in a row with a Marder 3 from a nice ambush flanking position and then some friendly Jagdpanther started shooting at me, I was screaming Friendly, friendly the entire time but he never stopped shooting. Eventually he hit me and exclaimed over the in game Voip "Finally, that took so many... ohh shit, fuck sorry!" Was not amused. Even with the shit graphics of DH the gameplay is excellent and gameplay always trumps looks for me in any game. Thats why X-com is timeless.

I just bought X-com on steam a few minutes ago... I just want to feel young again ^^

That was a great ww2 game.
Sniper shoots your helmet off and you can run and put it back on. LOL
