^ playable area size, not total map size.
Total map size needs to be at least an added 150 on both lenght & width of the playable area else it'll look stupid. (map will end right at the borders of the playable area, with a big black void)

Okay. It keeps telling me I lack starting position and map entry point.

I've found these objects.

I place them on the map, but the "Player assignment field" is greyed out.

Do I have to use starting position, starting position 1, 2 etc?

Or can I just use starting position and assign it to different players?

Okay, I placed starting positions and map entry points for player 1 and 2. BUT, upon saving, it says that player 1 and 2 doesnt have map entry points!

I figured it out on my own Smiley

Now to understand how to make sectors, I'm trying to grasp the fundamentals to making a map work first before I go all crazy and make 100 chateaus.

a lot of the maps in eirr are overly complicated, I'm just trying to make a slightly more interesting map than tanteville, bocage or neuville

I'll test out your map, this gives me the time to test out my internet connection and a new map! Double win!

I've started to map the central area. The WIP name is Fortified Swamp.

Again I run into the problem of starting position player field being greyed out. Hmmfg

Solved the above problem. I was placing it outside the play area, thats why it wouldnt work lol.

So far I've mapped much of the river bank, and I'm currently placing those telephone things. Stolps?

Wtf are they named.
