So, when is it coming?
The current assault supresses, deals damage, you can get doctrine modifiers making the icon go away. Its worth more than 50 munis on grens. You get the badass modifiers as well.
I'd say 80 on grens, 90 on volks.
OR the modifiers need to be removed.

We'll be removing suppression from assault grenades in a near future, but aside from that we don't have anything currently planned for them.

only trouble may be caused by the no icon 4 assault T4 but i think that will be changed... and replaced by something else

That calls for a price decrease tbh, they were already nerfed but price was not changed.

why does nobody realize how immortal this ability makes the throwers? What if rifles could buy a 50 muni grenade upgrade that gave them -50% recevied damage and accuracy, while throwing? or what it now is. the modifier is fucking huuuuugeeeee

Maybe, the suppression is hardly its most defining feature. (Doesn't even kick in most of the time when you're trying to run away from it)

They also can't do anything else while chasing down that one specific squad with the ability activated. It's a trade-off really, though I personally wouldn't mind seeing the bonuses reduced a tad. (I don't think removing them entirely would be in order)
Also I think the T4 is what really skews the balance on assault grenades, and it is indeed going to be replaced by something else sooner or later.

and it only lasts while they are on throwing mode , meaning you cannot do anything else. Bait throwing squad to other troops and once they stop throwing they are dead.

Why would you need them to do anything else then use the ability you decided it would be a good idea to use 2 seconds ago? Tank crush? Bait in shermans or m10s with a 50 muni ability, to maybe crush half of a 240 mp or 190 mp gren/volk squad?

I meant bait as allies the assault throwing squad to follow you. If he cancels the assault, 50 mu is wasted , if he follows your rifles you can kill him.

Its cool, I'll just not play against assault companies until it gets fixed. I usually never dodge doctrines like this, in fact, can you name a single post towards that end? But this is broken. You can be microing twice as fast as the other guy, he creates a lot more needed action from your side than he has to do himself. Its click-and-forget, check back on other units.

It's hardly fine. It costs 30 munis for a 2x single grenade throws on rifles, 35 munis for 2x single throws on rangers, yet 40 munis is a good price for 1x 9-grenade-toss with 50% damage reduction? Seriously, you're fucking retarded if you think it's balanced. The most imba shit in this mod atm are assault/barsup/g43 sup because they're made to force retreats. Yeah, well, retreat means a lot more here than in vcoh, and that's hardly taken into account.

So your mad about a one time use ability for 50 munitions.... Just because it rapes yyour infantry blobs or curbs the Weapon teams.... But it leaves the ATG alive, And the MG and motar.....
I don;t get the troubvle with assult....
Its similar to throwing a stikie on a vehicle..... Except the damage decrease....
I have used it and seen it used..... IF you miss its a big offensive buff gone. Not to mention a sniper will wreak havock on it.
I don;t find no icon an issue as its a very usefull T4. But hey, i guess the only usefull T4s should be dmg, acc buffs right?

It felt pretty bad playing 2 games against the same players -- once where they didn't know, and the second time when they could prepare, still with the same result. I'm only running 4 squads with assault, and smurf is running 15 I think. He has joint ops and I have dual t3's, so mine show assault. They dodged 90% of my assaults, but smurfs would always end up hitting, and his squads would survive, probably because his were grens and mine were volks.
I like to click a lot, so when I issue an order for my volks to move from A to B, i'll probably click on B a few times which is why my numbers are always significantly higher than others.
I'm all for a price increase, but i'm more for the idea that the squad shouldn't be invincible. Halving the rec dmg/acc would be a great way to start. I don't know why we're giving off the feeling that we're encouraging less micro (not that I'm saying players that use this t4 have less micro!)

If you blob select, you get tons of APM. RA doesnt track this correctly. From the game you are refering those numbers, your pak just walked out of your spawn past my engie and died. Same with volks on the right. Just walked right into a mg nest, kept crawling forward after getting surpessed.And then again with a volk and gren squad you called on the left, you just ran past rifles ignoring that they were there, except this time you bothered to pop assault on one squad after a while and then didnt move them anymore.

fuck the grenades i would pay 30mu on my rifles to simply give them the assault ability with out the nades, it would be like fire up but with out exhaustion and you get defensive bonuses!
