i think the jeep should be brought back, and its cost/pop should go up to show this.
simply because i think it would be hilarious to see a jeep that costs like 80fu, and is like 5 pop.

Adding new units just for the hell of it dilutes factions making them all very similar, this creates a more boring and less flavorful play experience for all.

Lets see, PE HMGs for instance? British mobile support weapons? All of these things that make the doctrines mimic Allies and Wehr.
What would be the point in adding a random new unit that achieves nothing, if it's balanced it would be around 6-8 pop and similar in firepower to the Stuka Hotchkiss.

Actualy no , stuka rocket and calliope rockets are different.
Jeep calliope would be a new unit , and the only unit it mimicks is calliope so there is no faction mirroring because calli is not same as stuka.
Normal calliope fires 30 rockets, it would be fine with 10-15 rockets, 180 range and according pricing and pop
