command squad is fine, they are pretty weak for an officer unit and like said, quite expensive. also you cant solo a volks squad unless its down a man or two, or they are suppressed, sure you can go in take a few shots then go back and heal up, also he costs nearly as much as a volks squad with mp40s!

lol retarded? seriously? its 180 mp and 60 mu making it the most expensive officer unit
(captain 150-40, LT 155-30, officer 180-30) gets a smoke off map and only buffs accuracy and doesn't get more bonuses on vet unlike cap and LT.

It's a front line offensive officer, it already dies easily enough as is . If ur thinking of taking away the heroic armor then you'll have the possibly of both guys dying easily to a single tank shot with only 65 health.

btw, why does the Def Officer need so much health? it's double any other officer and gives the best buffs, yet you want to nerf the freakin command squad? dude c'mon

i'm not calling for a def officer nerf but clearly it's worth what it costs, you can't spam them since you can only build 3 and it's not nearly as survivable as the def officer, more so than the cap and LT but they give better buffs and unlike the def officer and cap don't have offensive off map other than covering for an attack or retreat with smoke. Leave it alone.

I actually think command squad is horrible unit to have. 60MU? sheesh. And im more of fan of concussive strike wayyyy more than just smoke. Only cool thing i like about them is if they pick up a weapon. Maybe i keep 1 or 2 so i can have a low pop capping unit. But there goes 120MU. I got to use smoke more often.

60 Mun is a fair price for its command aura + smoke drop. You generally pay 30-40 Mun for other officers, for just the combat bonuses they give. Though they may be a little too expensive on MP, since they're not nearly as tough as the WM officer (who is also 180 MP) Heck I suppose even 50 Mun could be considered, if that was the general consensus.

def officer has infantry armor.

US command squad HP can go to 2x75. then it still has more HP than a WM officer.

heroic armor does not protect against tank fire.

I know it has infantry armor.

and yes its 2 men but they have 65 health first of all and the def officer has 140. 65 + 65 = 130

the officer also has heroic crits tho not heroic armor.

officer and radio man have both heroic armor and crits, so its just like what, 15-25% incoming accuracy?

and yes i know it doesn't protect against tank fire dude c'mon dont act like i'm stupid. this is what i said

I meant possibility. What heroic crits do is not allow a single shot to kill the squad. So if you have 2 men in a squad, and generally p4's, tigers, etc, tank that are good at taking out infantry they generally gib 2 men at a time, and do 87.5+ damage, so if you give them infantry armor there's a good chance that a single shot will take them both out much like LT's and Captains end to die in single shots from panthers and p4's and tigers.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

i wouldnt might a slight price increase if they got a little more health.

also this unit is great, especially if you go top T4, keeping a jumbo and officer around your infantry make them pretty rapetastic with those sexy tripple BARs. mmm i miss my infantry company, i think i need to break it back out.

between 0.66 incomming damage modifier and 0.75 incomming damage and 0.85 incomming accuracy

that boost the 65hp each to be similar to inf armor with around 100hp (or more depending on weapon) each when facing small arms

(or with doctrine buffs the base hp are 75 => 114++hp inf armor for each of the two men)

unless we are talking health and damage buff and maybe bigger aura or stronger aura. I already see this unit as too pricey. hence WTF to nerf.

which is retardedly OP, indeed.

tym, no one spoke about removing their heroic crits.
