Bombings are not to kill a lot of people most of the time but the main goal is to scare the people of the area into submission(even tough it don't work for shit and just help the course of the opposite party)

More people are dead, its being reported continually. Persons are lying dead inside the government quarter but they are still doing bomb searches so they are not retrieving them |

I returned around 18 pm after a walk around the areas, although the main site has been blocked off. (Explosion was reported in 15.26) Ambulances, police cars and civilian authority cars were driving with sirens on everywhere still.
I doubt many will disagree if I say that Norway and Norwegians generally have considered themselves very safe, remote and neutral enough to avoid attacks like these. Those thoughts are coming to an abrupt end most likely.
Already people are going crazy on facebook and Twitter etc, and of course there's the vocal minority calling for stricter immigration policy and people shouting on muslims in the street.

Yeah, Canada's in the same boat. There are people here are naive enough to think that we won't be the target of attacks. Which is complete bullshit. Try as you might there is no way to maintain the level of personal freedoms western nations enjoy and have security at a 100% impenetrable level.
Well good thing we didn't lose the Smokaz at least. Hope you're friends/family are ok.

I live 5 minutes away on foot - but I have a ingenious type of insurance vs terrorist attacks.
There's a mosque/islam community house 10 metres from my apartment. Last time I checked terrorists don't bomb those kind of buildings.
This is horrible though. I hope as few people as possible lost their lives.
