EDIT: Okay so I looked at most recent patch notes and strongly believe british button needs a rework, yet again. This couldn't have been a BT decision because they're meant to be a couple of smart people that don't have faction bias.
- Button rework:
range increased to 35
hull/coaxial mg disabled, 0 sight, 0.25 main gun accuracy, 0.5 acceleration
0-5s: 0.75 max speed
5-10s: 0.5 max speed
10-15s: 0.25 max speed, 0.25 acceleration
So the range increase was nice, but really this ability is completely useless. Hell, you're just giving the tank a target for its treads! Even if you button from literally under the treads, any tank is able to get away after 5s unless you're facing someone who is completely oblivious to the fact that he has a tank on the field, or you're facing morka when he's too busy making post-match pancakes for everyone to care about moving his units. My proposition would be to make it .5 max speed for 0-10s, THEN keep the 10-15s the same. .75 is too easy to get away from, players should be rewarded for good micro. Hell, for 90mu I'd want something that was actually decent. I understand that if it goes to .5, then 35 range would make this ability OP again, so maybe knock back the range to what it was.
Also, Jagdtiger needs to be looked at before it comes back in warmap time. Thing is one shotting atg's with near perfect accuracy. Any incompetent idiot that knows how to turn a tank could rack up 50+ kills with this thing with reasonable support.

Well, button is now a weaksauce ability, and now it wont impact the game one bit. Its just a "lol slowdown for 3 sec until you drive out of my range" ability.
And live with it cuz its probably not going to change.

I think button is fine where it is now for a defensive ability
not to mention it's free for that matter
Most of time bren tommies get crushed when they are on the offensive
and yes jagdtiger needs rework - it annihilates infantry of any kind but fails vs even 1 m10 or m18s

i havent used my brit company, but i saw someone button a vehicle, it's hilarious! any vehicle that isnt a KT just drives right out of the button.
the problem is that you have to sit there and expose yourself to the vehicle, its not like stickies where you can get a tank and walk away.
i do think the nerf to button was needed, but it still isnt quite right.

havent seen it used, only found it it was changed here, after reading this thread, to me it sounds like the ability is neither UP or OP. it sounds balanced. It seems like to me that the ability is now used as a deterrent so enemy tanks do not want to get close, if they do, they can get button, but no longer will brit be able to lockdown a tank and pepper it with AP rounds, which was why it was OP to begin with.

thats why you don't use it at max range or chasing a tank with button squad
but you use it next to your 6pounder to prevent/slow down its being circled
if the modifiers that are listed are really applying it should do exactly this job
i did not used it since change because i only played on a commando brit company (without brens) so i could be wrong on this but i think people need to get used to a new button version that isn't "trolololol i completely disable your tank for almost 20sec and kill it with whatever i want" anymore and changed to "ok i have my bren lmg for its AI main purpose and when a tank tries to circle my 6pndr i can slow it"

and if you use button at point blank with a 6pdr supporting it, well you just lost both units

To be honets its quite useless as it is, i allways used it against Lvs and PE tanks so they would not be able to CircleStrafe my At but now even tough i button something at close range they still Zoom around my shit and kill it regardless i have Atgs and Piats and now if i button Heavy AI units like pumas and Acs they rape my button guys in seckonds.
