I finally got corsix to work i had to delete some file, but i when i created a new squad, i went to give its screen name, it requires the UCS, i downloaded some relic ucs thing put the squad in the file, then i put its value into the open are, it didn't work, so then i clicked the ... button which had me click the load button or the create new button, i tried both of them and they both didn't work, can some1 plz reply on what they think the problem is

You need to ensure that the UTC-8 text format is retained.  In otherwords, you cant just use notepad to edit it.

The easiest thing to do is:

In your mod folder, go to Locale > English and in there create a new text document called MyMod.English.ucs or whatever your mod is called. Type up the values you want in there under the basic format:

15000000   Assault Sappers

Then in Corsix, at the top click on Mod, go down to UCS editor and open the file you just created.

In there, write the exact same things as in your text document, and it should work.

Ok thanks for the help, also how do I get the model images to gimp to edit? I found where they were and mase thematic Dds files but idk how to get them to gimp from there

At mister schmidt I tried what u said, it worked, but when I went into coh it crashed before it loaded how can I fix this?

ok 1 more thing, i enabled dev mode, and then i hit the play coh button on top, it loaded coh up, i selected a map, and tried it to c if it worked and i looked in the barracks and the squad wasn't there, i followed a tutorial step by step doing everything he did, i did the ucs thing, then i put it in the barracks, and i ran it and it wasn't there, any suggestions?

Don't use that, you have to create your own shortcut for your mod.

Make a copy of your normal coh shortcut, call it whatever.

Right click it and go to properties, and at the end of target line type -mod (modname) -dev

Then it will work.

it says application has failed to start because Xthread.dll was not found, re installing the application may fix this problem.  do u know what i did wrong?

Nvm last one, did what u said got this.  Name c:\ program files\thq\coh\reliiccoh.exe"-Baconsmod-dev specified in target box is not valid

Just copy that and put it at the end.

should i delete whats in the target box? cuz i did the first time and added it, it didnt work, so i only put it at the end and it also didn't work, any ideas, or what am i doing wrong
