I know what you are talking about; there's an officer in the WorldBuilder.

However, those "officers" with damage and health-increasing abilities are coming out in OF with the British Army.

What about creating a command squad type thing, able to be given bonuses through CP use or perhaps XP.

Bonuses from buffing nearby units, debuffing nearby enemies, combat abiltiies, etc.

Hm... Interesting concept. We could even add in a new game mode.... Assassination. Kill your the opposing officer(s) to defeat your enemy. Of course, the Officer would have to be pretty uber and survive alot of hits.

Axis have an officer, play defensive, and yes he is worth buying as he can supervise units and give an extra 10% accuracy bonus to any unit you want him to supervise. On top of that you get a free artillery usage! Not to mention that hes a pain to kill.

Americans used to have one in the vCoH beta but they took it out along the way for some reason, which is why the model, etc is still in place.

British will have officers too.

I dont think we'll be implementing any new units in EiR in the near future... but never say never I guess.

The assination gameplay sounds like a wonderfull idear!

Officers die like flys if someone really cares.
10% Accuracy+ is not worth the 3 clicks.

2 Clicks and I doubt you've ever tried it else you would know that it does a good job on artillery, tanks, mgs, etc Wink.

It should last longer, not just 10 seconds.

It's supposed to remain active untill the unit moves out of the radius or you supervise a different unit... This was not the case but fldash fixed it in one of the previous versions I beleve.

Could you double check and report back if it still only last 10 secs?
(Which would mean it's bugged)

It lasts infinitely as long as you don't move the unit out of range, or move the officer.  Although, the animation state might end.  There is no way to fix that...

I once had a defence company with 5 (!) Officers in it. Ask bonte he killed the most.

3 click,s

1x to select the officer itself (or press the number you gave him)
1x On the ability
1x on the target area / unit
= 3

It can be considered an argument, it can viewed as sad, and he was facetiously making it official.
