(Just a general discussion, not balance)
I find the new slow to be less tactical than before. It now sports what seems like a medium damage boost with suppression not really affecting anything more protected than riflemen out of cover.
This also means that it's not the AB/Ranger stopper it used to be. Rangers take almost zero damage from any PE inf weapon at long range, which is as far as they need to go to harass your vehicles and tanks with their bazookas. Getting slowed used to be a big deal for the elite inf, it was one ability they couldn't just fireup out of it. Which meant if they overextended, anti infantry weapons could take them out.
It also removes a anti-sniper tool from PE where if the ab/mando/ami sniper was short-sighted enough to position and fire enough from less than their max range to your g43s, a quick mouse click could slow him thus hindering his escape and "tracking him".

Yes old slow was great vs fireup infantry. It pretty much negates the speed of fireup so you can get away and get even.
Newest slow and OP slow isn't as effective vs suppression resistant infantry.

old slow wasn't good either imho
that g43 suppression should be buffed to level of bar suppression and it would own
the current slow/suppression doesn't do much suppression need to be able to pin squads
imho both abilities (bar suppression and g43 suppression) should be changed to target only 1 squad (like old slow) and make it pinned after some time

Instead of talking about adding in slow again we should be talking about removing the secondary 400% buff on suppression or just removing BAR/G43 suppression entirely…

In fact when a squad gets suppressed by the riflesquad their priority drops and the squad starts suppressing another squad by itself. You will suppress pretty much every single squad around you just by pressing the SF button. |

yeah its an iwinbutton but only because you can trololol all infantry near to you
it would have some tactical use if you can use it only on one squad
