Bocage is the third highest rated map on the list. Number 3 out of 42 maps. I am going to say you are a minority in that opinion.  Wink

Bocage is the BEST map in EIRR. I will eat 8 subway melts and take the cheapest train possible to Unkn0wn and shit on his porch before you can say Pasta when you remove it.

Why is Bocage so great?
- Its fair terrain-wise! Nobody gets anything special on "their side".
- Its varied while still being fair!
- It has chateau. Delegated to the corner like the relic it is.
- It has open areas, it has shotblockers, it has houses.
- The sectoring means you can push for both left and right side.

Was linden a 4v4 or a 3v3? It was weird because the map size itself easily catered to 4 persons overall, but the choke points on the other hand kinda demanded that players split up.

That said the right flank on linden was too easy to lock down and middle always became pretty campy.

I was new when the map was around. Being new and fighting in a large open field was fantastic, locking down was (and is) one thing that you can always trust to noobs. They'll (mostly) get obliterated if you ask them to attack with you, but if you tell them to hold a line then they'll do it. Linden was perfect for this. Each teams best player would generally take the city, a middle player would half assist in city and half assist in field and one player would hold field. Much like most tante matches nowdays -- one player tends to basically hold field (maybe 15 pop to hold) and two players will try to push city, if it doesn't work you just switch it up and push field.

Technically speaking, there is nothing wrong with it. No retarted height mapping, no invisible shot-blockers/things that vehicles get stuck on. Playing the same maps sucks, and like I said before, if nothing else is going on, why don't we have a handful of maps back in?
