my map New York that i'v been working on for months has been corrupted. this is the 2nd time this has happened. the first time was with Berlin. I was wondering if this has happened to any1 else? when ever i try to open the file on my world builder it crashes same with Berlin. these maps have ALOT of detail so i was wondering could that b why they crashed?  i didnt think it was corrupted though cuz i have NEVER moved the file. is there a way i can fix it?

when you open your mapname.module with notepad what does it say under modname=?

Could be that you have moved of deleted mods that your map was currently working under.

I think I may have figured out y it won't work. All maps that have done this to me in map size has been above 400 by 400 in map size. Idk If it is true bit it's just a guess

thx for the comment, yes berlin had a mod but i deleted it and got a updated 1 of the mod could that b why? and if so how could i fix it? NY i started in May and i got a updated version of the mod then to. the mod is NHCToV

Well if you updated the mod, objects that you've place that belong to the mod may no longer be there etc etc. So if you DL the version of the mod that the map was working under it should be ok. Apart from that i can't think of anything else.

ok. and actually i found something out. the map berlin i placed was the new map i started of it and all i did was place the starting postions. so idk why it would mess up because thats all that was there beside the map entry point. i have to find my other USB drive cuz it has most of my back up files on it

nvm i went and tried the map that was on the USB drive and it wont work, and no i didnt move the file i copied and pasted it
