Made a smurf company under the name asdasff and proceeded to pile vet on it. Was only a 13 game company, but EVERY single unit in it was vet3 (i suspect 1v1 abuse). Then proceeded to do all of nothing and talk of "owning" that game. Twas silly.

However, it must be said that Ive been shown up. Gratz ArmedShit, not only did you kill my old 600 XP squad, you made an entire company of vet.

Exactly. Vet isn't strong enough to make it so vet companies > throwaway companies. If preserving vet caused wins, it'd be a different story.

Not exactly, the reason players that dont care about vet regularly do better than the ones that do is that they, unline the vetwhores (I like that term) are not afraid to commit their units to suicidal rushed.

Well, there's vetwhores (retreat as soon as suppressed; Armedshit and the like), and individuals who like preserving vet (myself and others). Then there's the people who never retreat (50% of the community).

It should be advantageous to retreat a 2 man squad to have him come back in another battle stronger than he was. That said, I'll fight with 2 man squads (AT primarily) if the situation is right, but if there's no imminent danger I'll pull them off and bring a new one on. There shouldn't be any real bonus for instead of keeping him on the field or retreating him, but instead charging in to do *that* much more damage.

My companies are more or less z.B.v in their own use. Their duty is to die and my duty is to send them to places where they can die. Preserving vet on infantry is useless, they die more or less, preserving it on tanks is more useful...and then they get vet hunted by several throw away units. Yeah trying to keep vet alive is somewhat difficult while infantry vet is easy to preserve it is still quite pointless.

Try fighting off a good number of vet riflemen. They'll put some serious hurt down, even on suicide grens/volks. Only thing that rains on your parade is mass Assault spam, which is (IMO) broken and afaik is receiving some changes in the next patch anyways.

If they are going to fix that then fix the fact that a single bar squad can keep two elite armor grenadier squad pinned by themselves, because that is just as overpowered as assault.

And no, not talking about blobbed squad, had a riflesquad suppress two individual squads on both its flanks by simply alternating fire each level of suppression that was given.
