I'd be up for that, haven't played BB in a little while, not sure if I want to give my new halflings a baptism of fire, or try my new idea for a human team.

Loool, if you needed lessons you should ask. There are way to many things to learn in a short time for a new player that doesn't have time to study.

Same goes for you Lefort. If you want some tricks and tips let me know.

Tricks and tips don't matter. My issue with the game isn't knowing what to do. It's getting kicked in the face by lady luck while you're down. I've never seen so many quadruple 1's. There is no such thing as random chance for a computer so alot of my anger falls towards the die rolls

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

But "manual" irl dice rolls are not truly random either unless you get down to a quantum scale and the heisenberg uncertainty. And not even then it's not so much random but more like impossible to predict.

Think about it, the die roll is all about different physical factors such as force, medium, properties of the die etc.

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

Which for all intents and purposes is random to our understanding.

Yes you can influence which side of the die will land up but not to 100% certainty. I don't have any faith in the 'Random Number Generation' that alot of games use.

Yes but in the end a good random number generator is impossible to tell apart result-vise from manual IRL rolls. The only suppsed difference is that a computer generated one can theoretically be predicted if you know the code, but honestly the same thing can be said about humans casting dice! It's all about variables comming together to get a result.

But ok, assuming that no matter how sophisticated the code is you will never feel that it is as random as a regular die roll then would you at least be happy if a quantum computer was made to simulate dice rolls?

As long as the code was variable and didn't rely on ever changing simplicities like Frames, Clock, Processor speeds, Initial seeds, and other stupid shit like that.

Again the simple fact that a Predictor existed for BB is disconcerting enough to shake the faith.

hmmm...that makes me wonder if there is any random number generators that uses polymorphic code, maybe with python... *mind wanders away*
