I play on custom maps, a lot. Starting a game there takes about 5 seconds and the quality of the modding comunity is pretty amazing too.

It can be anything you want. DOTA was a WC3 custom map, and SC2 has even more options available to mappers. Granted, I'm playing ladder primarily (and playhem.com dailies), but custom games once in a while can be wicked fun. Infact, I just played a "micro trainer" today that's amazing. Start 10 marines vs something like 15 lings, and you have to stutter-step to kill them all. Then it's 18 lings. Then 20. Then 22. I got up to level 8 before I gave up I still remember Zoatar's Tower Defense from WC3....best TD map ever. |
