lol no, it's so badly optimized it probably was released in alpha state, and the graphics are from 2005. Cllifs of dover is a failure on all levels both technical and gameplay. |

Red Baron (and later Red Baron with the 3D update).
Simply the best WWI flight sim. GREAT fun at LAN partys. The number of times I made my wings snap off due to overpushing the limits of my Sopworth or Fokker Dr1! I liked pretending to be the Baron!

While not a sim... I recently played AC: Assault Horizon and that game is great, sure, it does some things people would scream heresy over... But, I can even defend the planes having "Regenerating health"... Simple really, it allows you to get shot more and that = A harder and more exiting game, it allows the game to more activily try to damage you since you dont have a bar that has to last the entire missiong... And more agressive AI = More fun, so there ye have it, I'm done being off topic now  |

Okay, so now I have tried wings of prey, just could not feel that game... I felt nothing at all. Cool graphics etc. But the feeling was simply not there.
I also tried cliffs of dover and that could be good if it didnt lag like hell as soon as i hit a enemy plane! Might be better with all the new patches, i dont know..
But my number one is still: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
Get it ehum (free) and lets play!

Yeah iceland, that is the game, but you should use hyper lobby when you are going to play multiplayer. http://hyperfighter.sk/ I think its about 200-400 players online in the IL-2 1946 server. Besides, if you have other flight simulators you can use hyper lobby aswell. Velocity, isnt flight sim x just a simulator as in no shooting? |
