One thing about the game....

Do the opponents scale depending on how strong you are like in the prev games?

That really pissed me off - whats the point in even LEVELING if your opponents are not static (higher or lower skilled than you) depending on the area?

I basically clocked the game in cloth with the begining dagger/bow combo because when I upgraded my gear, my opponents did too.  This way I could fight most enemies cos they came at me with a dagger / no armour.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

So far, as the people who have been pulling it apart say, there are level ranges that your level effects. SO if the dungeon is level 20-30 and you come in at 24, the dungeon is level 24.

It was quite silly back on Oblivion, yeah. There's something similar at play here but I can tell it was improved a lot, at least I can rape with one hit lesser creatures with almost any weapon lol.

If I get shot and it's a gay medic fixing me up, he's not gonna be fondling my balls while he does it. You can't patch a chest wound and suck a cock at the same time.

The leveling scale improved TONS from obvlivion.

Yes I also have heard dungeons are the same level as you first went into them.

But I think this was vastly changed.

I have entered noob dungeons I have seen but never entered now only to 1 shot every enemy except the single higher level bandit inside when I was level 13.

I also have entered a little dungeon as level a tinny weeny level 7 to fight some hard motherfuckers.

I also still get raped by giants yet in level 14 Sad

So I am going to assume, dungeons have level caps on them. A dungeon your more likely to encounter earlier in your game possibly has a level cap.

I also finished the quest for azuras star, which was insanely hard, and I was level 13. I had to use berserk, potion for 100+ hp, potion for 20% fire resistance, potion for magic resistance, potion for 2hd dmg increase, + like 250-450 HP worth of health potions and food.

As far as ive noticed, only the important figures in the game will level up to you, with power and armour (Im thinking the silver hand leaders who all had steel plate armor but there troops had no armor and only steel weapons) and creatures seem to stay below the level you are, to give an a very small piece of challenge, but still you are 10x powerful, if that is what's going on, then i love it, it means replayability for me, not a creature that can go down with 1 swipe, but one that will go down with ease but still abit of a challenge.

@AmPm, epic smithing man! i cant wait to get mine up to that and improve weapons up to legendary! im aming to get the arcane smithing so i can improve my mace, shield and these new orkish boots i got that provide 50 fire resistant

Yea, my armor is pretty retarded, same goes for weapons. I should be in my full suit of Dragon Plate tonight. Maybe a Dragon Scale suit too.

This is the opposite of what Im asking basically Wink

I want a fucking HARD game, not the piss poor attempt that was Oblivion.

By the way, when I mean hard - I beat Moria (old amiga game, precursor to Angband etc) by throwing trash (bones, rocks, unidentified items, pants) at the Balrog....  And in that game, if you died, it deleted your save game (~14 days to get to the right level to face the balrog).

Play with light, armor, 1 weapon and a torch lol. On Master.

Im going on expert and it gets iffy vs heavy magic, but I can usually lure the AI into coming around a corner into my greatsword.

Expert is what i'm playing on, and it's certainly tough. I'm dual wielding swords of + flame and + lightning, summoning atronarch's to absorb dmg as well as companion and just max dps'ing. Lvl 18 currently with 80 + one handed and 70 Heavy. Spent all my money every level training for heavy and one handed so I could get the weightless heavy ability and fastest dual wielding speed. Works an absolute treat. Only downside is that I get rolled every time I don't have someone to absorb damage!

Restoration certainly seems to be more powerful than in Oblivion/Morrowind. It's one tree I really regret excluding from my build.

P.S. Markarth is a bitch.. the area looks incredible but once you get down to the quests it's just a massive pain in the ass!

Get the witcher 2 if you feel like banging your head against a wall, the insane difficulty also works like that, you die you lose.

Altough trolls do rape you here as well... on very hard they should kill you with a single punch, and you're not going anyhwere if you aren't a werewolf, the fuckers run fast.

ok,I was only playing yesterday cuz I had one exam that day...on advanced(which is normall I guess) and it aint rly hard(I am lv5.),I guess I should bumb it up in difficulty a bit.

In order to boost smiting,I need to do shit load of improving armor/weapons...where do you find all the ore? Cuz I barely found some...

Is there a reason NOT TO KILL npc's at remote areas or where guards wont come? I guess my charachter is a bit evil dark elf  Grin

right now I am going for 1 hand/destruction combo and I plan to upgrade smiting/enchanting to boost my equipment, maybe a bit in lock picking, cuz I like it. What would be good to upgrade also?

Carrying mules,I mean companions, you cant give em better armor to wear, right?  I only noticed that my one puts helmet. Any way to see their health?

I thought the scaling thing was BS b/c it was too easy. Basically no bosses.
And OMG the theme and immersion was completely drained when i found a beautiful dungeon or an epic place where would be a perfect place for a boss battle I may win or lose and have epic loot, only to be treated to 2 wolves and awarded a wooden spoon.

Seriously fuck scaling.

I wish RPGs focus on tactics more than grinding.

Thats why Demon Souls and Monster Hunter have a place in my heart.

Play it on Master then, stop being a sissy.

Also, got my Dragon Plate, but it looks a little lame, so I stuck with my Ebony armor for pimp status.

I finished the main quest line. Currently at 90 2h, but at least my armor won't weigh me down anymore =)

I think I might swap to Light Armor and a shield/1h combo...or magic, not sure.

Sadly, epic big nasty dragon died really fast....really really fast....
