Load Previous Platoons button

Sorry if this has already been made, using search button found nothing about this but

I find my self many times trying to recover all my dead platoon members and some how mess up the order if I havent written it down, maybe there should be a load previous platoon button which shows your platoon before the battle and asks you to load it and put all the dead units back where they should be (also taking into account the vetted units of course).

I wonder why it hasnt been done until now?

Reason it hasn't been done yet is because there are more important things to do.

I've asked for this before, EIRRMods reasoning for not doing this is it would take away some of the 'persistance feeling'. It's true, but as an option I'd still like it.
