Hi, im a new guy here, so ide like to pop my head in and get my 2 bits in.
im working to being a ww2 historian, because it is a great passion for me. mostly, i try and take realism into consideration with tactics (such as small scale models of tactics used in WW2, like the pincer blitz by Rommle) and employ them in a efficient manor.
i play strongly defensive, giving my men something to fall back on... if something was to wrong... but i digress. I held held an officers position in WAW 13 (Großdeutschland FTW!!!), so i guess i have an over romanticized view of keeping men alive but, none the less i try my best.

Ah, welcome to the forums. I advise you to check out the tutorials and guides before starting your first company. Don't get discourage if you lose your first few games because practice makes perfect. I recommend you seek out a certain player that goes by the name, "Salan"

He will probably be the best guide to ask but don't be afraid to ask anyone else. We're a pretty small community so everyone basically know each other quite well. Once again, welcome to the EIR community.

Good to see you, and welcome to EIR.

There's a strats section as a subforum in Public Testing. Same with replays.

Keeping men alive is a primary concern in this game, too. You'll learn to appreciate it as they vet up  Smiley.

And, of course...you are probably going to lose the first couple of games, but try to hang in there until you get enough CPs/RBs to deal some real damage to the Allied War Machine.

Once again, welcome to EIR.
