So I got a little bit of beef with these things. 3 pop, can cap territory, not much more than a bike, but more survivable than either a bike or a jeep. You bring a sc to kill a sniper it'll take care of it no problem, mostly because the SC is so hard to hit, has high health, is large and has rotating turret, which means snipers cant run around them or any of those kind of tricks.

Now all this would be fine and dandy in vcoh because snipers are insanely deadly against the 3 man squads, but that's not a worry in EIR with their 4 man squads. Also you can send in one sc to do good work against a sniper, where as for other factions you have to send in at least 2-3 bikes/jeeps, and even then sometimes you don't get that sniper. That's also 9 pop compared to 3, or if you bring in 2x SC thats only 6 pop.

I'm thinking SC should be tweaked so it isn't so versatile. Right now for that cheap amount you have a unit that can cap, scout, take on unsupported infantry, and detect and counter snipers. I think a simple solution would simply be to turn down its detection a little bit, there are not a lot of cloaking units for allied faction, so I don't see it being too big of a deal. This will help snipers out a little bit if a SC comes in, but they can keep doing what they normally do. Not only that but PE also have the option of the shwimwagen to do the same as a bike, but honestly, i dont EVER see PE players use this because the SC is so much more useful.

Make them pay for their main gun, Fixed allso they use SC becouse they dont get any other Sniper hunter units ffs.

ice, riki just said PE also get the schimmwagen.

scout car isn't that great vs snipers alone tho imo. the turret rotates really slow and could be aiming at anything else. the bike only aims forward so its very easy to target the sniper.

Vampire Halftrack (its 2 pop, which means there is no reason for you to NOT have one on field)

people need to learn to leave at assets near their sniper as a good PE player knows exactly where it is at all times.

Unless of course your like Jona Hex who thought that the vampire was useless because it had no gun

scout cars already have a pretty low detection. epic duo used to be 1 pop ketten + 3 pop sc. ketten had like 55 detection and 35 sight. and the sc was very good at sniper killing but now its the other way. ketten 55 sight, 35 detection.

interesting, i forgot they also have vamp to detect sniper, but in a much different way.

also keeping at by your sniper wont help unless you are lucky, sc is fast, and atgs/rrs/tanks all tend to miss sc. zooks, quads, and things of that nature are much better, but probably wont kill them before they kill your sniper.

good points though leo, but still sniper wont be able to run around a sc like it could a bike.

whats the detection on sc vs a bike/schwim or ketten?

lets just put it this way, you pretty much gotta be humping the sniper with the sc before you see it.

But if you use sc+vamp combo you already know where it is so certain players who never have used pe before think its like some super jeep.

scout car has nasty habbit to aim at everything else except sniper...so sniper cloacks for a sec/or you have to move scout car and he automatically aims for something else.

Think it has the same priority as any inf, only difference is that normal inf don't cloak so it will rather focus on something it can see.

if you are on it, fix the priorities of hellcat (maybe m10 too) i really want to shoot the marder first before that damn thing is shooting panthers

which makes no sense tbh. it has a better chance to penetrate the marder so it should prioritize it over a panther.

no it should prioritize whatever you want it to prioritize.

best chance of having it do that is by making everything have the same priority.

seems to target stuff that more close if they have same priority

happend to me yesterday...a almost dead marder in the back and a panther on boccage between the buildings and my hellcat targeted the panther after driving next to it even when i targeted the marder manually and gave it move command to get behind the marder (marder was in range)

I think it also prefers to shoot at things its aiming at already. I can probably change both those things.

u forgot SC is utter shit vs sniper, i tried.


in moment any other inf is present u will not be able to target sniper reliably. u clik on sniper it is firing at him but u move your SC cause sniper is moving away, SC starts to autotarget other inf with higher priority

i didnt know of the sc having trouble actually staying on firing on the sniper, i must of just had some bad luck, i suppose it's probably fine then.
