Hello all,
Im new to this MOD. I saw a shoutcast of Krebs an dicided to give it a go.
After looking for a game for a while, I fillaly found people to play with.since it was my first game I diddnt know you need to join a game from the list in V-coh,..
when I returned to the lobby the people I was trying to play with started to insult me.. I know people behind a screen are that way, well some are.
I'm sorry to see that a Mod like this has such a bad player base. Mod makers are trying to promote this mod and (sorry) Retards break this...
after meeting "these" people I'm not that enthusiastic anymore. Surly I will give it a try. but people need to realize that if you want a MOD the grow you need to face noobs and help them.
Sorry for this rant... I just had to let it out.

My apologies Xenox. Some of our community have short fuses, but that can be said for every community. Just gotta let it roll off your shoulders. Anywho, there is an entire fourm dedicated to getting started where a multitude of our members have condensed instructions about every aspect of getting started in a EIRR game. Take a look at this Quick start tutorial from Leophone: http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=22387.0In particular, the part you would be most interested in is section 8., how to join a game after the launcher. Step 8: Joining the game in Company of HeroesAfter you pressed LAUNCH the EIRRClient should automatically start Company of Heroes. At the relic online profile selection screen pick the profile which has the same name as your EIRRLauncher profile name. Then go to MULTIPLAYER in the Company of Heroes menu, activate filters but make sure the filters themselves are empty, and then join the lobby one of the players in your game has hosted. 
We do try really hard to provide all the information that you would need, you just have to ask first cause most of the time, we dont know if you are new or not. |

Unfortunately there's always some bad apples and intolerance of 'newbs' in every community, though hopefully you will soon meet that 'other side' of the community that is more than willing to help out newer players. It's a good thing you posted this, sometimes the community needs to be reminded of why it's important to stay respectful and patient with newer players.

if someone insults you for being new you can make dispute thread or pm a mod i think
but not all are like these people most will help you to get this mod and your company working. Just keep asking and ignore these people

Hey Xenox, i'm although new here but don't spoil your party by a few a social guys. Here in there forum is a lot of bashing and raging just to make each other feel upset. But, give this game a second chance: Here are a lot of friendly guys and i have a lot of fun playing this mod. Also the ventrillo chat is awesome. Sometimes this community is exhausting. But it is enough to avoid these people to have some cool times here. Don't blame the mod cause there are a few stupid people. Learn to live with those guys to have fun. |

I like new allied players...I can't wait to return to the battlefield.
The Steel beast of normandy requires more...armored players. Yes more heavy armor to the field- no medium armor to the field.
