Would it be possible/is their any particularly good reason not to, give airborne the option to take a second LMG.

Very similar to Grenadiers where you can buy one or two.
Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to change and is a sensible option that could be a very minor but useful tweak.

I thought they just got the one o.O, it would be cool if they had a tier unlock lets them fire on the move.

Okay it would be awesome cause the Lmgs themselves arent to bad especially when 2 work together but firing on the move would give them usefulness.

They've had 2 LMGs for a while. Marines get 2 LMGs too.

The reason is because 1 of these doesn't do the DPS of a LMG42. It does roughly half.

I didn't realize they had two.

Then it would be pretty cool if they had some fire on the move doctrine unlock.
That would allow them to still take advantage of their airborne armor as well as a nice weapon choice.
Since they aren't as powerful as LMG42s it (hopefully) wouldn't be the total rape face imagined but still a powerful unlock.

They seem to be constantly reloading and not shooting, that i only thought it was 1 person using the shitting gun.

yeah i havent actually seen the 2 lmgs fire at once its usually one or the other and not a constant fire like a 3-5 seconds reload between each burst. Since when has this game ever been realistic in terms of firing lmgs on the move it was there once before? andu can do with brens.

I've had it with the "it's not realistic" and "CoH is not a realistic game" arguemnts... Really, there is a very visable line in this game and many games in general.

No, CoH is not hardcore "Realistic" but it is somewhat true to life, better yet it tried to "look" real, and this has some weigh on the whole thing. Sure, anyone here can say that the tank ranges are to short or that this or that does unrealistic damage, but when watching the game it often looks "Real enough" without to many immersion breakers within the context of the game.

In this case, aside from balance the other reason why LMG's do not fire on the move is because it looks downright silly, and regardless of your perspective on the game CoH is a game that seemingly tries to stay serious and down to earth, for what it's worth.

(I in no way hate "Silly" strategy games, A huge fan of C&C Generals because of the wacky style, and specifically Zero Hour for the generals it added)

but i should have worked if it wasnt for. certain people. point being lmgs can be fired on the move realisticaly speaking you can fire a lmg while very steadily aproaching granted short burst and almost a walk pace, but you can do it.
