Bridge doesn't work, why did no one ever tell me Sad.
I think Wraith is on it now anyway, he'll probably make that river fordable.

Ok guys I need your help on this one.

All I ever hear is how we only have 2 playable 3v3's, and that pisses me off. I put a FUCKTON of work into this map and it is disheartening to hear that no one wants to play it. I don't blame anyone, but I really want to fix it.

What I need is for everyone to play the map and figure out what it is that makes it unfun or unfair to play.

I need screenshots of things you dont like. Point out exactly what creates imbalances.

I also need you to post replays here that shows what the issues are. Just post the .rec and battle #.

I really want to makes this map worth playing, but I can't do it without some help from the community. Smiley

What would really help is a new mappack with this in it Wink

Gameplay seems mostly alright on this, although it has a tendency to stall just past the beach...hm.

Can you post an in game tac map screenshot so we can see the sectors.  Also, has the mortar bunker been removed?

The mortar bunker on Sword beach is destroyed and I doubt anyone ever bothered repairing it Wink.

Yea im interested in playing this map but ive heard it was currently not a good map to play for some reason.  Looks awsome though.  Let me know if you update it and ill get a game going to test it.

The version currently uploaded is fine tbh.
It used to have some issues with sector design but those issues were resolved.

Hey just thought I would update.

I have spent some time upgrading the map and have hopefully resolved some of the complaints.

I went ahead and removed the mortar bunker and the sea wall. There is now significantly more cover coming up from the beach. It should also now be easier to break the first line of defense and get into the town. The water around the causeway is now completely fordable.

In addition the map is now a 4v4, however I still think it is best played as a 3v3, but the option is at least now available.

I am over the G/Fs on her Mac at the moment so I don't have access to my PC, but I will put the finishing touches on the map when I get home and have a new version out this afternoon.

Aight really quick, I am about to package up the newest version but I need one more quick opinion.

The biggest complaint was the difficulty of attacking and breaching the first layer of defense. I think I have taken care of that, but I wanted to add one more thing.

Unless someone quickly informs me that it is a bad idea, I am going to put a smoke screen up between parts of the beach and the most difficult to assault positions. I don't know how long they would last but they would be helpful to the attacker.

Just a quick update

I have broken my map, and I can't find a way to fix it. Currently when I launch the map ingame to make sure everything works it just kicks me to desktop.

Don't have a ton of time to work on it over the next few days, but I will try to get it ready sometime this week.

To summarize:

Stupidity got us into this, stupidity will get us out.

I think it has something to do with me adding in those two extra positions to make it an 8p
