All we can do is hope that is the tutorial mission. In all the hitman games the first mission was always railroaded like this.

Your analogy is stupid. Have you seen the video? I have, and it looks amazing. And sometimes linear games are better than non-linear ones. (Linear games enable a stronger storyline imo)

Because open missions with choices on how to execute the target was what made hitman unique to many people, and made it extremely replayable. If people wanted something with higher immersion but more linear they could always go with Splinter Cell, which is a great game, but we dont need Conviction #2. I beat Hitman 2 three times, hitman contracts two times, and hitman bloodmoney two times. I am unable to play another splintercell game with that much re playability. Although I admit I havn't even beat conviction :| |

I'm quite sure not all missions are going to be 100% linear anyway, being able to execute every mission in different ways if what the genre is built on.

Your just being a wannabe fan boy. Movie was honestly better then most, it didn't rely to much on its story and had some decent action. I mean compared to half the movies out there what more could you really ask for? Personally the entire hit man series was merely ok, i mean i had a blast with it but it was my "im pissed off at commandoes at the moment game." |
