If you are connected to the internet, you should be able to log in to relic online. (You have a legal copy of COH, right?) If you do not yet have a relic online account, you need to register one first. (There should be an option to register for an account)

don't do that.
There should be an option that says something like register account that you can use to make an account with Relic online.
when you do this make the account name be TIGER94.
Then when you want to play you will open EIR and log in and pick your company that is named TIGER94 and join a game.
Once everybody is ready you click launch and COH will open. You will login to Relic through COH with your TIGER94 account. Then you go to multiplayer and wait until someone who is in your game hosts a game.
Typically it will be named 2v2 or 3v3 or EIR. Something along those lines. Once you see the game up you can select it and hit join.
You'll be in the game and when it fills up with everyone, the host will start the game and you are playing EIR.
