Recalculate:
a) Vet 1 Bonus -15% Received Damage
b) USK Bonus -12% Received Damage (Thought it was -15%)

(0.85 * 0.88) - 1 = ~ -25%

This, has some sense in it, some reason in it too. M10s snipe, crush, and zoom around. But what is the worst is that Hellcats get the 46 LoS and are faster than these and do the same things almost  the same. What should be done about them?

But in reality, nerfing one unit to make another more appealing shouldn't be the way how to balance things in EIRR.

I don't like the Hellcats. There looking like a big heavy tank but there fat and clumsy allthough the .50 cal is a joke and can't deal any serious damage
to infantry, also it seems that the pathing of this tank destroyer is "brilliant". But it's possible that i just to stupid to use them the right way.

FYI, USK has never given recieved penetration modifiers.

If it did, I'd be at that shit with a vet 3 Pershing stackin' it up.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

I would not let confirmation bias (dunno if that's the correct term for it but it's close enough) get in the way of legitimate discussion. The M10 is nowhere near as good as the Sherman against infantry, and you only consider it good at sniping infantry because you notice when it hits infantry and don't notice when it misses them five times in a row, so it seems like they hit infantry more than they actually do because the hits stand out in your thoughts. On average the Sherman will directly hit an infantryman every ~11 seconds, whereas an M10 will directly hit an infantryman every ~26 seconds, and that's not even considering the fact that the 75mm has six times as much splash radius. And that's at long range, it gets more skewed towards the Sherman at medium and short ranges. That's also not considering the fact that the Sherman can get a .50 cal. Both are about the same level in terms of crushing. One is more durable so getting in close is safer and one is faster so crushing is slightly easier.

The M10 is a much better crushing platform not just for it's speed, but because it's turn speed and pathing are much better than the Sherman's as well.

The M10 can potentially perform a hit and run, squishing half a squad. A Sherman attempting the same feat will get stopped cold by poor acceleration compared to the M10 after it runs down the guy(s) it hits. The M10 will also slide further after hitting the first man, giving it a much better chance of running down a follow up target(s) in the squad after making the first guy squishy.

As long as only a single piece of AT covers your intended squishing target, an M10 can be in an out with the AT firing only once. A Sherman will end up getting hit at least twice, if not more if the AT piece has a sustainable rate of fire, such as a pak. Essentially, squishing with the Sherman is something you do either when it's convenient or as a last resort. With the M10, it's a viable combat tactic.

Firepower-wise... The Sherman is leagues ahead of the M10. Hell, if the targetted squad bunches up right, ya wont have time to consider squishing them after a 75mm round gibs 3 volks that decided to stand too close to each other.
