No, I mean science in general. No medical treatments, no automation, no electricity, nothing.

Well then it's not an accurate comparison and the old testament is still read religiously throughout the world.

And therefore it's not the actual religious text in itself but the way people percieve that text.

No, it's the actual religious text itself.

How is it not?

Because there are no good aspects from religion, there is the evil part that gets people killed and the outdated part that keeps people living in ignorance (such as believing that the earth is 6000 years old).

So essentially you've devolved to a yes/no back-and-forth argument. How thoughtful and original.

And yeah, you're right, religion is bona fide 100% evil, those homeless shelters and food drives that churches do are so harmful to the community.

Your right, lets leave it to science to label them mentally ill and profit off of them as well as making sure they stay in the worse shape for as long as possible so as to maximize profit

We don't have homeless shelters or food drives. Instead of giving tax payer money to the church (so that religious nutjobs can pocket most of it) we give it to people who actually need it, thus homelessness is non-existent.

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

I believe this has terminated any attempt you may make in the future of legitimately arguing a point.

Not really, I presented facts that you failed to respond to.

The official number of homeless people in Sweden is 17800 but 95% of those are given state housing (nice aparments) and money for basic needs like food, so they're not really homeless. The last 5% are  people that have become homeless recently and have not yet received help, so I wouldn't really call them homeless because it's just temporary. But if you do that's 700 people out of 9.4 million.

From your previous statements unless you actually show factual and official documents displaying these numbers i will remain skeptical of your knowledge if any.

Am I the only one who noticed the misspelling of evangelicals in this thread's title?

Congratulations, Sweden has a good state-funded welfare program. Personally, I'd like to see more recent statistics considering there was a little dip in the world economy quite recently. Does this somehow make the work churches do in countries less fortunate less meaningful?

lol as if. Sweden is probably the most atheistic nation in the west and there's almost no political power for Christian agendas. There's one small Christian party and they don't exactly support tax-funded charity.

From the research that i have done its only about 20% of the population that are atheists. While that does make it one of the most atheistic countries in the world,  its vastly distant from a majority.
