Coh is no where near over. Lots of players still play it, its turned into exactly what counterstrike has, near immortal.
Couple mods to watch out for are Modern Combat and Fortress Europe alot of work has gone into both.
Eirr has its ups and downs, right now its resembling the middle of last year nothing more, people are just waiting for the wipe/warmap.

While CoH is still going strong it's not earning astonishing profits for Relic or THQ anymore. Sure it still sells copies but not in the numbers they desire.

i dont know jaegar while both communities are pretty bad, i think OMG has achieved a pretty great level of balance, i mean they have a unit for usa that cloaks finally. Some of the things in the mod are iffy like packing up a 88 and moving it or airburst on arty. its like a hybrid of EIRR and vcoh which is pretty neat. The best thing is you dont have overly stupid stuff like KCH that pop pills and stuff and walk through flames.

To be honest doctrines kind of create a balance nightmare. I'm finding that I like European Escalations balance better, because it uses shit ton's of units to balance things out. What I don't like about omg is the availability, having a min pop call ins, less tanks, shitty repair system........ I would like to see use go away from doctrines all together and just add a crap ton of units for balance. I guess you would need to get models and such but I think it would be more interesting.
