seems simple enough to understand. Someone was able to take the support crew out from an hmg and use it for other purposes.

Yeah i have had a 1 heroic spotter from my atg. one time i did it with AB night raid and the atg itself ran off but the unit was still cloaked and it gave me some nice sight.

I clicked the abandon button just as the atg was destroyed, and all three guys were left on field. Had to run them back to spawn manually

if you have a weapon crew that does not retreat properly, you are required to take him off map, or else it is considered an exploit...

- One-shot-hold-fire Wespe/Hummel (Don't know of you can do it with both of them but at least it is possible to do it with one)
- Direct fire through obstacles

Is an exploit, too.

Firing through an obstacle is not an exploit, it's a tactic.

No generally its an exploit

if you have a weapon crew that does not retreat properly, you are required to take him off map, or else it is considered an exploit...

This should also be done for infantry that are given the retreat command, stop/stutter and stop retreating.

Never has been, it's just using intelligence to take the advantage, anyone could do it, it's not like it has any particular requirements.

That's like saying using attack ground to extend your range is an exploit.

I don't think it is considered an exploit since 1: you're just using an intended game mechanic, for example if a unit is hiding behind a house and you use attack ground with your tank for a chance to hit it with splash damage, that's not an exploit, same thing goes with other obstacles and 2: there is a chance that you will hit, but it's far from 100%.

Then we had define what's an exploit and a non-exploit.

What's the difference between decrewing and using the care for a different job, and a indirect fire for longer wapeon range, which converts one thing of
these two into an exploit?

The reason it is an exploit when you decrew an atg and they don't retreat, or when one the last guy doesn't die or run away, is because they take up 0 pop, and can cap.

It's an old bug, and well known as an exploit. It IS defined as an exploit, but you can be forgiven for not being aware since you're pretty new.

Ahnungsloser, I think because of your English (or lack of) I am not understanding what you are saying. Sorry about that.

How is it possible to decrew a weapon and use those units to recrew it or any other weapon? Unless you use sandbags or wire to fuckup the retreat, then are they not going to just go off map? Using the Barbwire or sand bags is indeed an exploit.

However, if once in a 100 times the game bugs out and the crew does not go off map, I don't think we can really call it an exploit? Or can we..... I guess the Dev team will have to make a "ruling" on it, but how often do you think this actually happens? Lets say, out of 100 games, how often does this happen.

Firing through an object is not considered an exploit. Shitty, spineless, borderline unethical...... but not officially an exploit.

It's just a random bug, I'm not aware of any specific way to do it, but I know it does randomly happen.

I'm sure I've seen either Unknown or Brn say somehing about it before, classing it as an exploit.

And per 100 games, who knows, I can tell you it's not that common q bug, but it does happen now and then.
