Usefulness?

This isn't really for balance discussion because it's more of an open ended discussion on whether or not the croc is worth buying. It's a whole 200 fuel, but armored doctrine gives it a free .50. I just don't know if it's worth buying, or if it needs a cost reduction.

personally i say reduce it. its a situational unit that i wouldnt bother with due to the fact when do you actually see a infantry blob without some sort or atg or tank?.

I unfortunately agree. The problem is the 'just buy a sherman' philosophy instead of trying to micro a second 'anti tank' unit with the croc. Fire is excellent through smoke and heavy cover, and rapes inf, but even still it just doesn't seem useful enough to me (enough being the key word).

It's a situational unit so there is no point in having many of them. But they are great to clear out houses and emplacements and similar. It has more firepower than a Sherman 75 or 76mm, it's just that it needs to be in close range. If you can get it in close range, then it's a useful unit.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

I remember when the Free .50cal first got implemented and every bitched about how OP crocs were. Now it's just like a token gesture. "it gets a free .50... but meh"
