The difference is for one is no risk of getting virtumonde, very nasty virus that keeps comming back and back. Two is of course not getting in trouble with the law at all. Chances are nobody will be tracking that torrent but many people still would not want to risk it.


Oh and to you guys starting a new game but have never played before, Make sure to always have a very high intelligence if you want to progress through the game on your first try. The game gets very hard if you try to roleplay a guy with the intelligence of a brahmin.

never heard of that virus....tbh. I downloaded shit load of stuff from torrent,and never rly had any issues with viruses etc. Few times I had problems,my antivirus took care of that.
Law problems? Bitch please. Only time I heard about that that here is some 2 random guys,whom interpol reported to our police,and the reason were pretty gray  . They probably didnt find child porn they were looking for,so decided to just accuse them of torrents. I am yet to hear about people not wanting to download the torrent because someone might be tracking it.
 Btw. how can they be sure that you downloaded it? I am not sure that they will be busting with warrants in every home to search pc's to find out if you have it on your computer. Because,anyone can hack your wireless network and download torrents through your network.

Yeah you could say that to the cops. But still, usually when they track you, or last time I have looked these things up, they ended up messaging your ISP about who's doing it. And your ISP then sends you a big scary email for you to stop.

Many do not want to risk getting that big scary email, regardless if they could blame it on their neighbor.

dunno,maybe in other country's they are watching these things much more,but here,not rly. I mean,most firms dont even have legal windows to beging with  . So yeah,software protection isnt rly top priority in Croatia atm.
 Right now we have more pressing concerns,like giving bicycles tickets because they are driving on the pavement and not on the road risking their life,because it's suicide waiting to happen driving on half the roads when you take into account how drivers drive here and culture in traffic.
