For anyone who didn't know an indie developer is creating a Free to play Mechwarrior multiplayer game using the Cry3 Engine. It looks good and will remind some players of World of Tanks concept, except for some Key differences. Signups are here. http://mwomercs.com/Register an Account and fill out the beta profile. Ingame screen  Mechlab Screen(Your customization garage) You can swap out weapons for other ones as long as they fit into the slots and don't make your Mech exceed it's tonnage.  If anyone has played previous Mechwarrior titles then you'll be interested. Matches are 12v12. The combat will be slower paced and more tactical then World of Tanks. They will be having 4 weight groups of Chassis. Light, Medium, Heavy and Assault. Each Mech will fill a Battlefield role which can be customized using modules in the Mech and Pilot upgrades. |

Beta tested other games? Check.
Filed bug reports? Check.
Played MW games before? Check.
Played F2P before? Check.

The problem these days is that alot of companies use a 'beta' as a real demo experience and a server stress test rather then it's original intent. I've actually been invited to betas for about 6 games. Thats not through signups either, like actual theres an Email and a legal NDA to sign and fax back.
Theres just no way to convey that in their stupidly short questionnaire.

Nah burn, the "Extended demo" beta still gives them a lot of feedback, but mostly on server performance and player habits, for something free to play/online that's important to.
