But just a question to this, will this also include that in EiR you also get Brit's and PE as chooseable faction / team or does it just patch it to be compatible to play it so we keep just the American's and Wehrmacht?

The original plan was to hotfix the game first so it's playable with Americans & Wehrmacht (v1.9) and then release the OF integreation (2.0). However, we might go straight ahead to 2.0 at this stage.
2.0 will most likely be a lot more than just OF integretation, judging by what's on the table right now, 2.0 will most likely be a complete redesign of the mod on all levels.

There's a small chance 1.9 will be released within the next few weeks with no balance changes or updates, simply compatibility with OF. I have at least 3 hours on Saturday ear-marked to work on it, and that may be enough time (not really sure just yet).
We'll have to see how it goes.
BTW: The donation money received thus far specifically opened this 3 hour window for work on the modification. I appreciate it.

I figure for those of us who can donate something toward your time, you can somewhat justify it with "R.L." by showing that you are now (and probably more in the future) actually get paid for the hourly time you put into the mod. |
