http://www.insurgencymod.net/the new version comes out in a few days, anyone up for killin some iraqi's  DOD, bahahah forget it ! check out the teaser trailer for actual game play, they did A LOT of work on this one...

Awesome mod indeed, I really want to have it but I can't be bothered getting HL2 right now :/. I need more 10$ games like DoD:S  . Also really looking forward to NS2, I was a hardcore NS fan. |

That look great. So does the insurgency mod, i really need to get HL2, especially for modding, and getting all these great stuff. Just, so much is coming out lately, mods and games.

Yeah, for all the realism you can throw into a HL2 mod, you can't expect to have realistic-type fun on the small maps they constantly force-feed us.
Needs bigger maps.

I played the first public release version of Insurgency and wasn't really impressed. Alot of weapons were unbalanced and fighting infinite Iraqis get annoying. Hopefully the newer version solves some of these issues.

Want it for free? Ie Gift? Can you play the mods if you have the HL2 multiplayer pack? (DoD:S + HL2 DM + CS:S??) Because I remember I was capable of playing The Battlegrounds . You only need a source game (iirc) to play mods, but you can never to be sure. |

Insurgency...I play it, time to time. Fighting off the infinite Iraqis is mildly amusing. But NS is better.
