Ok

Its going to ruin the game of anyone that doent enjoy figting endless spam of Grayhounds, Storms, Rangers and any other Cheap strong unit that you could name that is limited by pool.
Is it reasonable to ruin the game just so a couple of players that enjoy running Grief companys can have some fun??

You still did not listen. It's not going to 'ruin' the game for anyone who doesn't like fighting whatever you listed, because they can themselves make the most fun company they ever had due to no limitations.

Thats only going to work if the Other player knows how to do that.
not everyone in the mod enjoys going all out bonkers just because they can, some enjoy having to think about their company and how they setup their shit.
Also that will just cause the most Stupid company on any side to become the most Played because people dont really enjoy making their own Coys if they can steal a strong one from someone else.

You are implying people need to learn how to make a company that is fun for them? What kind of world are you living in? Every human being will be able to do build a company that he himself perceives as fun to play.

With no limitations, this is encouraged since you have even more options. /argument fail

I am saying that people need to learn how to create a Grief/Spam Company that can be used to counter all other companys if used right.
Another thing is that its going to Ruin almost any balanced companys because its going to flood the Meta game with spam of cheap high Pool units that normal companys cant counter, then a player needs a special company that can counter that strat which if its a new player is going to be close to impossible and even more going to make him annoyed and leave.

Ps: last time i checked we dont want new players to leave unless hes a complete Dick.

I beat people up with balanced companies all the way back in 2009 when old EIR was still there. That is not the problem, skill will always determine the outcome of a game, not the way you built a company. You can have the best company build but if you don't know how to use it then it's not going to work

Did you read the Rest of the fucking comment?
Its going to fuck over new players/less exeperianced players due to annoying grief companys so even tough they have great skill they still wont be able to do Jack shit against them if an half decent player is using it.

Its not about how its going to affect YOU, its about how its going to affect other players for you may be one of the best players around players that arent as good as you are going to be fucked over by this

You need to stop using that argument lol. Your so called 'annoying/grief" companies are only perceived as such from ONE side if at all. The other guy has the time of his life playing with it.

You need to explain how they won't be able to do jack shit against these companies, because I call bs on that. If you have great skill then that is definitely not a problem, especially when dealing with spam since it's a one trick pony. I myself find spam even easier to counter than balanced builds because I know what to expect.

So its reasonable to ruin another persons game just so someone else can have their fun?

You are like a Cook telling a novice how to do it because its easy for you, you and other players(smokaz, shab, skaffa, ofl) might be able to deal with things easily but its going to ruin the game of new players that have are just now understanding how to play this properly.

The Conversation is over anyways for Luci wont be doing this regardless what we say.

I've replied to this before already. It's not 'ruining' another persons game in any way because it is possible for them to make a company that they will have the most fun with, ever.

If new players have skill they can deal with it. If they don't, then they would also be fucked if there actually was pool.

Anyway, I would happily donate if this was implemented some time.

In this thread we learn that pros like Elitegren, Hans, Luci like the no pool idea, while noobs like demon and icelandic vote for a pool because they know they cannot play.

I see a pattern here, the 'no pool' would increase even further the gap in pros vs noobs, and that's what they are afraid.

The pros and artificialy hindered by the pool, it's like they are in schackles.

Also the 20 greyhounds argument -  2 medium tanks from axis at same time on field and greyhounds won't do a thing. (and that's roughly 1 medium tank from 1 player)

so the one main argument is that new players cant deal with nonlimited companies? well, how shell the new player then deal with balanced enemy companies properly?

if u dont have skill u will lose with every so called spam company against skilled players. If u dont have skill u even wont beat a balanced coy. I dont think that this argument is valid that new player has more problems with a spam then with a nonspam company.

also the fact that u have to build ur own coy (spam/balanced) is with both styles a problem. Also here i dont think that u can tell me that a balanced coy is easier to set up for a new player than a spam coy.

In the past new players were complaining about this unit op that unit op. Today with the current system they still new players complain.

okay.

i think the actual problem is that some persons want to play against balanced companies because they like to counter this playstyle and have fun with it while there is at the same time a different circle of players that like to counter spam companies and have more fun with that. Also some like to feel free in their company build and hate if they cant make a coy totally focused alone on Airborne as an example. Every human is different and so is their playstyle.

to make it even and benefit all players in the mod we should mix pool and non-pool games up on specific days.

Isn't it just removing pool numbers from the sql? If it's more then yeah, work should be focused on other things

true that. i was just imagine that some previous data would replace the current pool or so. If it will be to much work, then this should be a suggestion for later times.
