Team America, Fuck Yeah! Going down hill since Obama, WTF (actaully been going down hill since the early 1900's)! Really, how about we all take pills and become emotionally unattached just like equilibrium. Then we can fly around in cool space ships anal probing lesser civilizations.

Freedom of market is free.
Restrictions on what you can and cannot do is the opposite. It's like saying you are "Free from firearms ownership" in your country. That is the opposite of free. Same goes for your freedom of speech/expression, which for instance, does not exist in Germany or France.
You rely on the government to take care of you. This basically means you have no rights and only the privileges they assign to you. Sadly, this is where the US is headed as well, at least for now.
I don't think you have given questions like these very much thought.
With total freedom you have anarchy, and because of the nature of anarchy you still don't really have complete freedom since there's nothing stopping anyone from doing whatever they want to you.
A completely unregulated and free market is a kind of anarchy. With it you a get a plethora of nasty things that completely undermines the free market, like cartels forming and in the end you are left with an even more restricted market than you had in the first place.
It's a bit of a paradox yes, but anyone that has ever done any kind of thinking beyond what one has been indoctrinated with has understood this sad fact.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

No, they are protected from firearm related violence. Firearms can still be obtained by showing that you have a consistent interest in hunting or recreational shooting. It's not a complete protection of course as that would be difficult without a totalitarian society but it keeps people with questionable intentions and backgrounds (criminal record) from owning firearms.

Well, AMPM is a product of indoctrination.

That doesn't protect you from someone determined to shoot you...all it does is mean that it's harder for people who obey the law to get weapons.

It does actually. But not for the US because you have too many guns in circulation, when every kid and his dog has a gun it's kind of hard to keep track of them and keep them from falling into the wrong hands.

well i think the problem with selling virtual games is that you can bypass the physical barrier and just distribute the game to as you see fit (one copy at a time of course). I think people are more likely to give away a virtual copy of a game for free to their internet buddies or for direct trade than a physical copy. I imagine this would hurt vendor sales big time. I have no problem giving away my steam Elder Scroll games to you guys right now, but if my 360 version i will sell it. Plus virtual copy is 100% new as buy used physical copy is iffy.
granted this isnt a strong theory but its just a quick thought.

The way they will bypass this is requiring online only, and selling you a key to make an account that is non-transferable.
It's not foolproof, but it prevents resale of the liscense in question. Then they can just ban anything they find to not be the original owner, using MAC addresses or unique ID's generated by the information on the original computer. It could make DRM really ugly. If you think it's bad now you have no idea how far this can go.
