I was just wondering any one else into this series? I hate that I refuse to get a console because this is one series that I've loved since the first game back on PS1.
Is there anything similar to it on the PC? A nice arcadey mech game?

I'd like to say mechwarrior but it's not the same, I also played a lot of AC and it's sort of a rare breed of hardcore yet really out there mech combat... Hard to think of much that nails what AC does like, well, AC

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing—after they've tried everything else." The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons. Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

I really liked some of em thou, quick repayable missions were you had to adapt the mech to get the best scores.

AC on ps1 is so different from the one on ps3. Ps3 ruined it. The AC on ps1 was epic and will always be the number 1 AC

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

PS1 and PS2 games of AC were great, I only played a little bit of the 360 at my families house. The graphics are so boss, but it seemed like they changed things and the whole system seemed a bit muddled.

AC had many changes over the consoles. PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3.
Last one i played was on PS1, then i played AC 4 answers.
First off the story took about 3 minutes to write. BUt the amount of customization that the game has.... down to hydraulics and shocks for like several parts was a bit much. And the speed of the mech went to something you find in an anime.
Ironically part 5 slows down the gameplay and resembles the PS1 games. Adds in clan and commander modes and persistent warmaps. I think im going to get it. Im sure its like $20 now.
