How is it police brutality if they resisted arrest and attacked law enforcement officers? Seems like they had it coming.

well... it becomes police brutality when they use more force then needed. 1 or 2 arrests from the video might have been fine but most of them was fucking stupid.
Did you two even watch the entire clip? Pretty strong stuff tbh.

I guess you would be okay if someone told you to sit down, you don't sit down, then that person breaks your legs and sends you to hospital, hey man,you resisted and didn't obey what he told ya...you had it coming...
you are either plain stupid or you also enjoy in brutality if you think that those people on vids deserved what they got!

The one where the kid gets shot in the Subway station was the Officers fault(he was a transit officer and he thought he pulled a Taser)
When I used to work security People screamed police brutality alot. First, I was never police, and second, Restraining is different from beating.
Alot of times people who are restrained think they are being beaten because they attempt to resist the restraint and they contort themselves into strange positions or throw off their own balance and take a header into the floor.
I've never heard of ANY stories where the police told someone they couldn't film something, except in the case of traffic collisions, or any sort of death. There is a level of respect paid to the deceased and the last thing the family wants is to be able to see their loved ones bleed out in a stuck automobile or lay dead in the street.
There certainly are abusive(power tripping, control freaks) Police officers out there, and they make the rest of the uniforms look bad. It's a career path that attracts certain mindsets and it's hard to screen which ones are altruistic and which ones are sadistic or corrupt.
To the video; it was presented poorly and comes off sounding like a conspiracy idiot video. I say sure, film the Police in action, you'll get bad videos and good videos and HILARIOUS videos. But theres no need to be a dick about your filming. If you try and get your camera in their face or obstruct them or a scene at all prepare to get told off.
If your like that guy in new york who badgers the Police and Parking enforcement officers and then films their responses then piss off. He'd look bad too if you shit in his cheerios and harassed him at work. Everyone has a breaking point.
EDIT: Without some caveat in the video about the rest of the good cops out there this video is no different from "All Asians are good at math and can't drive" or "All Blacks love fried chicken and watermelon" or "Whites are inbred hillbillies"

First of all, what I saw on that video is sickening and makes me feel outraged at the police. There was about two clips were the idiots were resisting and deserved to get smacked around, but the rest is just absolutely sickening.
However Smurf, your shit attitude is part of the problem as well. It's this simple - if the cop tells you to sit your ass down, then sit your fucking ass down. Simple, no problem.
When you refuse to do so, you are creating a negative confrontational environment which has a potential to escalate.
Cops have specific training to remain clam, but unfortunately they are human as well. You get enough assholes that refuse to sit their asses down, or worse, pull a gun on you or others and eventually you are going to snap not matter what your training.
I am not defending the actions of these cops. There is no way you could. But I get sick of bullshit attitudes by people who expect decent cops to just ignore being treated like shit or having their lives threatened.
The worst part of all of this is the police force try to cover it up. I can understand a cop snapping and being out of control, but they need to be removed from the force immediately and with out a bunch of bullshit.

well tank,my shit attitude has nothing to do with how I react in reality. If officer tells me to sit down,I probably will, unless he has no right to tell me that. But if some people refuse to do so,it is still no excuse to threat them like that.
Doctors are human as well,my mom worked as one,and they also have to endure so much shit from people. And yet,you don't see them poisoning/cutting/kicking... people when they had enough for one day!

Honestly if your doing something purposefully to outrage the police, you get whats coming too ya. Don't fuck with them and they generally won't fuck with you. How would you like it if someone pushed you and pushed you until you snapped haha? Same concept, yes they shouldn't snap because they are officers of the law but people do have breaking points, and most of these "victims" threaten cops and there family's lol, if someone threatened my family I'd beat them to a pulp.

Careful Smurf, you won't like the direction your comment will take this thread.
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/11856.php
195,000.00 people died in the USA from medical errors. I think deaths caused by police are much smaller.
I guess we just didn't get your mom on video......

Did your moms regular patients do activities like robbing and carry around weapons while obviously not giving a damn about anyone else? Did she also have to have to restrain people regularly?
I know I wouldn't be a cop, it almost feels like half the world expects you to get stabbed before you pull your tazer out. And if that doesnt work you have to put a bullet precisely in his knee. And if you use more than 1 bullet your trigger happy.
Then you still kicked off the force because you forgot to try pepper spray.

a lot of stupid people fuss at the police these days cuz theres no respect for authority.
Like the rodney king case, i didn't feel sorry for him tbh until they kept going. The idiot ran from police, was hopped up on crack and fought them at the onset.
Now, do i think they should've done it, NO, but I do know that idiots like this exist. When a police man/woman tells me to chill out, i cihll out, why? cuz they got freakin billie clubs and guns!
really that simple...you aren't getting out of restraints or cuffs.

Watched a clip yesterday that showed a guy (brain sickness) screaming at some police men ~6 standing around him. He was unarmed and was just doing some karate shizzle and police told him to lay down.
Then he goes 2 steps in their direction and the guys shoot with pistols and submachineguns and put 46 holes into him. I was like wtf america.

Police don't carry SMGs....they can choose a shotgun or carbine. SWAT does carry SMGs...
And you can be damned sure that if I was working, and some maniac approached me violently, I would put them down as quickly and permanently as possible. Not risking my life based on the assumption that the crazy guy isn't actually going to harm me.

What? You don't get beat for being drunk outside, unless you mean getting beaten by someone else but police.
Whatever you say, german police are not as fast on the trigger as american police.
