Why are not more of these ingame? Much better than hearing the same thing over and over again.

All of them are in the game. Some only occur in moments like when artillery is actively hitting the unit so its voice is drowned out. Others have lower chances to be heard. For example "Motorcycle is fucked!" will only be heard when the motorcycle is out of control and on fire. :)Just the other day i heard the pak say something i hadn't heard ever before.

Just some comments of my own; remember this was an alpha build and lagged behind our current development build.

The line of sight system was at first weird for me, but after playing with it I've come to really appreciate it. Adds a lot to the game, specifically multiplayer. Nothing better than ambushing a squad because they couldn't see you until it was too late.

yeah i know it will take some getting used to, but good god, it adds so much tactics that it really gets me excited!


also where do i get the german voice files? i always love hearing new sounds in game, and hearing authentic german VA i think would be tons of fun even if i dont understand everything.


also i think CoH voice acting is amazing, it was the first RTS i played where i really felt attached to my units. can someone name better voices in an rts?

Did you get to experience snow in the gameplay?
If so, how do you feel about it? The developers talked about it being an element to the game rather than just a texture.

Also, what is the doctrine situation like? In TOV the doctrine system changed into that giant sceen with tons of abilities rather than a specific direction.

he already answered this, he went through some snow and ice, but the snow was light, not enough to affect his men. and ice didn't do anything either.

How do you avoid being ambushed then? I mean, surely scouting and LOS in general is one of the most important aspects of any multiplayer RTS. Also, can units in buildings look over hedges? That would only seem normal, no?
