If you could change one thing about America, what would it be?

Convince everyone involved with fox news that socialism is the new way forward, then watch fox viewers try to deal with it. Other way around would be to convince fox news that America as a whole thinks socialism is on the rise and the way forward and they are the last bastion of true ameri... Oh wait... Anyway, one does not simply kill faux news, one must toy with such a wonderful specimen first! One has to be a bit imaginative with these things

I'd say better public education would lead to the destruction of Fox News as we know it. So win-win.

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.
I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

Romney thinks black people have dark skin because they were cursed by god. Back in the early days of mormonism blacks were refused entry into heaven unless they were slaves. Thats right, mormons believe that blacks dont get into heaven unless they agree to be slaves. He also believes that when he dies he gets to become a god and rule over his own planet.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

I have to say, while I despise Romney as a candidate, discriminating on him based on his religious beliefs is stupid. He's a Mormon, get over it. The hypocrisy of the matter is only compounded when some known atheists here are bashing him on it. So much for secularism?
People did the same shit with JFK when he was going to be elected, saying he'd turn the country over to the Pope because he was Catholic. Get over it people.

It's not so much making fun of him but the religion itself.

Mormonism is a whole different cup of tea since it's a cult, not a world-religion.

All I can say is, living in a country where I'm allowed to believe (or not believe, in most cases these days) whatever the hell I want, discriminating against a public official because of thier religious beliefs is an infringement on one of the most important rights of a democratic country.

Too bad two states in this super democratic country of uber democracy we speak of explicitly forbid you from holding public office unless you're a christian.
Lol, institutional religious discrimination.

That may be the case in America but certainly not elsewhere and such practices are unbecoming. Not to mention adhering to the same prejudices as such theocratic states does little to put you above them.

It's perfectly reasonable to doubt a devoutly religious person's allegiance to secularism when living in a country where institutional infringement of secularism does not just exist, but is prominent.
