Is committing the same behaviour from the opposing side going to solve this?

Don't know, but it beats just sitting there and taking it like a little bitch while you yourself are being demonised for your beliefs - and having legislation passed to act on the demonisation.

The more generally republican voters swing away from Romney and towards the Democrats (or even third-party) because of Romney's religiousness, the happier I'll become, personally.

Hmm. i hate politics and i never really dabbled in them.

Here is how i look at it

Rommney has more experience in just about every area then obama.

But still some of the things they suggest they will do are just still stupid.

What do you do when you vote and both presidents are shit?. People say its americans right to vote but i dont see how much of a right it is when you have to choose shit and shit.

I voted Republican. Not a huge fan of Mr. Romney, but he's more likely to appoint judges that share my point of view.

Lol really? In what areas would that be? Running a company is pretty much the only area I can think of. And important areas, you know like being a President and a politician isn't exactly something he has more experience in. On top of that Obamas education is much more fit for running a country than Mitt Romney.

So yeah, what areas would that be that Romney has more experience in?

My favorite: although Mitt Romney keeps complaining about the government being bad at picking winners and losers (8% of the firms that have had government investment went bankrupt in the past 4 years), when Mr. Romney was part of Bain Capital, 22% of the firms they chose to invest in went bankrupt.

So what experience are we talking about here? His experience as a venture capitalist who "knows what it takes"? Well, the government has a nearly 3 times lower failure rate than Mr. Romney anyway, so he wouldn't be adding any value in that particular regard.

Are we talking about his experience as governor? Considering, for instance, that RomneyCare is basically the exact same as ObamaCare - and he praises RomneyCare while spitting on ObamaCare - the only thing he seems to have more experience in at this juncture is being a massive hypocrite.

Well... you will need those judges if Romney gets in.
With Romney your economy will be flat lined in 2 years, you will be at war with Iran, and the poor & middle class will be out robbing and murdering people in frustration or need.

So I guess voting because of judges is a preemptive stick?

Don't worry, Romney will unleash the growth faeries and all will be happy bunnies and rainbows.

I find it interesting that someone who owns a business like Tank would be against Romney, a lot of business owners are saying they want to vote for him cuz he'd be better for business.

But 10% income tax wouldn't be more than what anyone is paying now and it would just a be a temporary step towards removing income tax completely. No income tax = everyone wins.

Well lots of business owners like Romney because Romney generally advocates deregulation and shifts more to the right in economic practices. Business owners like this as the goal of the average business owner, under true capitalism, is to make large profits in the short term, at whatever long-term expense necessary. In the end these sorts of practices end up harming workers and the economy in general - since everyone does it, the relatively small impacts on businesses can translate into economic crisis. Tank is evidently not your average business owner, having an altruistic streak exemplified by his patronage of this mod.

the way you put it, it seems like he thinks long term over-short term. My potential publisher wants to vote Romney cuz he says he's better for his business, ignoring the fact that Obama is better for the people he works with.

I laugh at this. Obama is the biggest piece of shit ever to grace this great nation. Just ask any special forces operative and they'll let you know. That fact alone will make you not want to vote for him.

Then you have his laughable economic policies. You do know that the budget he submitted originally was laughed out of the house by both parties. The great recession was started by the Clinton administration and the bush admin didn't help the cause out either. Romney has solid business experience and knows how to work with both sides an important part when it comes to getting shit done. Obama gives no fucks about anything else but his own agenda hence why nothing has really happened.

I don't get how people can vote for Obama. I guess if you like getting something for nothing then he's your man but that will only last for so long, looks at Greece. There's a lot of work that needs to be done here in the states and sadly neither candidate will due what's right. In fact there needs to be a complete change to the system, but that's a conversation for another time.

Oh knock it off with the American raw raw bullshit. The military is QQ because Obama took credit for getting Bin Laden - just like any other US president would have done at the time. Do you think for one fucking second Romney wouldn't puff up his chest and take credit for killing Bin Laden?

Oh, do you mean the ones that resulted in these FACTS:
 - 12 straight quarters of GDP growth
 - 32 straight months of private sector job growth
 - doubled the stock market

Are you fucking kidding me??? Do you even research the bullshit that comes out of your Fox News mouth.
Here's some FACTS for you:
 * Reagan leaves a debt of 2,857 Billion
 * Bush senior balloons that to  4,411 Billion (in four short years)
 * Clinton gets handed a cluster fuck, can't get the spending in control, but slows it to 5,807 Billion
 * Bush junior, not to be out done by daddy, doubles the deficit to 11,910 Billion

I pray to god you are not really this fucking stupid about your country.

tank, I love you. I wish i could explain things as well about the differences between Obama and Romney as you just did.

also btw, he did all of this despite the opposition and distractions he's had.

If he had a congress on his side and not wanting to make sure he failed, who knows where we'd be.

Mitch McConnell: Top Priority, Make Obama a One Term President

133 days, actually, of filibuster-proof majority, most of which were spent writing and passing the ACA. After those ended the Senate minority was free to filibuster anything they wanted, and they did, on literally everything, preventing meaningful votes on pretty much anything, up until Reid employed the so-called "nuclear option" to rewrite the rules on filibusters to prevent such a frivolous waste of time. But hey... let's not pay attention to facts.

who is Mitch McConnell? he's is the senator from Kentucky.

It's not the fact that it grew but a matter of how much. He also kind of did have congress on his side for the first two years, just saying. It's not just about claiming he killed bin laden but operational security. Giving away secrets to hype himself up is a quick way to get good men killed. Not to mention how the fuck are we supposed to get informants now?

Then you have epic fail Benghazi were gunships could have been called in along with delta force but was not allowed to proceed. The mortar that killed the two former seals was laser designated and their death's could have been prevented.

Obama time and time again has showed his failure to lead. Look at what he promised and what has actually happened. Don't give me this congress didn't let it happen bullshit because it was democrat controlled for his first 2 years in office. To tell you the truth I don't give a flying fuck what party he's from, a turd is a turd no matter how it's wrapped.
