Well I must say the game turned out to be a very pleasant surprise with a very fun campaign. The Strike Force missions are (in my opinion) the highlight of the game, i really hope they do more with them. As well as the zombies (especially tranzit) make it a sound game to pick up and well worth the money. I haven't delved to deep into the standard multi which seems to be pretty standard COD fare (haters gonna hate, but they do have a sound formula for multi) while it is more of the same it feels more polished with each game.

When I played it, the AI was downright broken for the AI soldiers and the only real way to get missions down was to take control of a guy and do it yourself.

It feels a lot better since the last patch, but its something new and really fun which is a step in the right direction

I'm not sure how BlOps2 is doing but after playing CoD for a few years I gave up on this series. In the short run a new version of CoD seems to be refreshing but after some multiplayer experience suddenly you notice how less have been changed since the last one.

A big part of the playerbase are dickheads and prevent a good games while overpowered killstreaks or abusive wapeons (Anybody playing BlOps2 - How is the wapeon balancing?) reduce the fun factor straight to zero. As a CoD veteran I had to say that MW3 was the last CoD I will play. The only thing I'm looking forward to, are LAN partys with awesome United Offensive and MW1 sessions.

I gave up on CoD after the third years and years ago. I've always considered getting the newer CoDs simply for the zombie game which is pretty fun, but I don't trust a company that originally made good games for the computer, then started making shitty games for console that got ported over to computer.

Also Halo is god awful, any game that makes me potentially spawn in someones sights is garbage.

i stopped after BO1, i didnt' get mw3 or bo2

i do have to say after CoD 3, all of treyarchs games are my favorite of the MW series.

WAW, and BO are great games with longevity and more ingenuity

World at war blew so badlence.

All the game are just retarded since Modern warfare. it had the most balanced guns pretty balanced perks good maps.

Now with Blackops its was alot of Rc cars running around. and with Mw2 it was alot of riflegrenades Bullcrap ACR which was probably the best weapon in the game, it was like headshot city. and wtfsprintingkniferange.

My issue with Halo was it's slow pace.

I like Combat Evolved, and could tolerate Halo 2 because it had Xbox Live. but it got pretty stupid after a while. Everyone moved so slowly and predictably.

The latest CoD's take too much of the fundamentals out. I liked CoD4 as a step away from WW2. and it played decent. I still had to rip everything out of it in the way of Perks and offmap support to make it great.

Loved the Promod setup.

My main gripe with the cod series is that it is essentially the same game sold over and over again to milk money out of the consumers while contributing extremely little.

i agree with halo being so slow, it isnt like Cod where if your quick you can run around a corner or duck  or throw a knife. With Halo, if you got caught in the open you couldnt escape and live another day because everything was so slow and you might not have a perk that makes you faster or sprint longer so no escape.

Also Sachaztan is right the games perk system dont change much since the last game i mean you can google it and you only know 2-3 perks change if that.

And the guns might vary but they keep the same amount in

The perks might not have changed, but the system around them has. Its becoming a lot more balanced, which is where the series is headed. Its less of a game now then it is becoming a sport in its own right.

The change might not seem like much (especially to those who bash it mindlessly) but its like playing Tiger Woods, then playing Tiger Woods with true swing, in lots of ways its identical, in others its a completely different. Or the change to how pucks were controlled in NHL a few years back which actually got me back into NHL again due to it being more skill based.

I'm not saying that the game-play and mechanics are bad. On the contrary, I think they're pretty good. But really, you think every new title is innovative and mixes up the formula?

But then again, why fix what isn't broken? No reason to take any risks and change something major when it sells so good, so I can't really blame them. I am just disappointed.

Another comment about this, sticking to the formula like that isn't necessarily bad. Like with Starcraft 2, not a whole lot has changed from the first game in the core mechanics and gameplay. But unlike the cod series they don't release a new Starcraft every year.

Zombie mode: Does anyone know why the only time I get ammo in Zombie mode is when I'm down?

Bo2 is a pretty solid shooter. The story is good and the multiplayer fills in the nice mindless shooter gap i've been having. I really liked what they did with kill streaks and the new create a class system. Now it's totally viable to run around with just a pistol and it's great.

I never said that, i actually thought BO 2 was a piece of shit, and MW 3 mindless (i just got it on sale for the story.)

Only Bo 2 did i find innovative to any degree and the first one even moderately balanced
