If anyone cares, I do data crap, this is my day.

6:30, wake up to alarm, turn it off
6:45, actually get out of bed
8:35 get to work 2 minutes before I'm marked as "late"
8:40 screw around on net, forums, drudgereport, facebook
8:45 look at work email, update any info that needs to be updated in database
9:00 do stupid meeting with project team, get nothing done
9:30 go back to desk, do more updates, do some random crap until break

My official title is customer support rep, my unofficial title is Special Projects Rep, my actual duty is CMS Database Administrator and i update our systems directory, design the interface, update the database, verify information, manage the physicina's oncall, train people to use the oncall system, fix random phone, interface, database issues.

I'm a huge jack of all trades and I love/hate it.

That's if anyone gives a crap of course.

May aswell add in my 2 cents. I'm a shift supervisor and a cook at KFC. 30 hours a week, on $20 an hour. Not too bad considering I'm 19. Trying to work out what i actually want to do with my life. But meh

Civil Engineers do a lot more than lay roads and services. They do Geo Tech data gathering, work with materials to test strength etc. and so on.

Military Engineers are the original Engineer, and have more fun =)

Alpha TIG / EIRRmod are correct, Structural Engineering is a discipline inside Civil Engineering, I'm an Irishman educated in Ireland and Scotland to MEng. in Civil Engineering working in Canada as a Structural engineer

Indeed, that is why engineering outside of the military was affixed "Civil" rather than military engineering being affixed "Military". Civil literally means civilian.
