I'm loving the brits (and the bombers up to the beauford) because ever since the reserve planes I haven't come across a single plane I didn't like or which wasn't competitive to planes either equal to or well above its rank.
Also they get like 4 different types of jets starting at a relatively low level (compared to America for example).
Just an all around great selection.

I think soviet planes are hands down the best tbh, and so far I've levelled british and soviets to 4 and germans to 7.

I play joystick, and I am pretty shit at aiming.
I tried a mouse/joystick combo (Yay mouse with left hand! Its just like wanking!) - and that was.... good, but awkward.
I enjoy the manuevers I can do in historic battles or simulator battles, but in arcade.... Ya just get raped by mousers.
Joystick players should stay in HB or higher, as the Super-mousers dont have thier heat-seeking targeting in them ;p

Has anyone got the Gloucester meteor yet ? 4x 20mm cannons of death in a beautiful piece of British engineering.
Also how many mosquito and spitfire varients have they included.
Mosquito had like 8 and spitfire had like 15 lol

Both are remarkable aircraft, heavily armed and armoured.
The F4F -4 tho had an extra 2guns with and thus extra weight and a slower speed.
Worth the grind to get the F6F hellcat tho

Woo, just got my Japanese Flying Boat Bomber thing of doom...ok, not that much doom, but it has a 20mm in a turret.
On top of that, the Zero is great fun, just don't get hit.

Nope. But on a lot of maps you can still manage to land on the airfield to repair. Or you can just try to land it anywhere really, it gets you bonus XP and less repair costs. |
