It has 55 Range isn't that enough said? Cheesy

Its not likely to do anything with it, but it has 55 range. It is annoying that it starts firing its pop gun from 55 range revealing its position. It is kinda troll seeing him firing that thing. Why is it still 55 range? Cheesy

Simple, so he can support his troops from behind the main line  Cheesy

(British officers are junk)

The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons. Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

Without the range, officers used to run to the front line and get instantly focus fired.

The hell are you going to damage with that thing either way? It isn't a combat unit, it is a sector buffer nothing more Cheesy

At most you will just reveal its current location

.. even with that range the AI capabilities of a officer are negligible. (offmap abilities doesn't count)

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

If it had shorter range.

It would not fire from so far away.

true but i've yet to have issues with it firing at something i didn't
want to cuz usually i have the captain in a sector with units in it.

Then again, im sure there are people who only use it for it's foo and the defensive bonsues are just that, a bonus, that they never use.

Only the Captain has the cahones to go to war with a revolver. That's enough for me.

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.
